This year’s renewal looks one of the strongest yet, with a perfect blend of star sprinters, emerging speedsters, and a few surprise entries from the slot-holders.
Headlining the field is Ka Ying Rising, the Hong Kong star on a 13-race winning streak. He is widely regarded as the top sprinter in the world and commands respect in all markets. That said, his recent trial form raised some eyebrows — connections emphasize that the trial was not reflective of his best work, and are confident he will revert to his superior standard on race day.
