Pick 5, Land 5. That’s the challenge behind Perfect5, a new racing product from Dabble arriving in time for the Spring Racing Carnival.
Rather than backing a single runner to win, Perfect5 asks punters to predict the first five horses home in the correct finishing order.
The new product is available on selected races, including the 2026 Cox Plate at Flemington.

What Is Dabble Perfect5?
Perfect5 is a racing bet where you nominate five horses to fill the first five finishing positions, in the exact order.
To complete a Perfect5 selection:
- Open the Dabble app and find a race offering Perfect5.
- Select the horse you think will finish first.
- Choose your second, third, fourth and fifth-place finishers.
- Review your selections and place your $5 bet.
To land Perfect5, every nominated horse must finish in precisely the position selected.
For example, correctly identifying the five horses that fill the first five placings isn’t enough if you’ve nominated them in a different order.
It’s a simple concept, but getting all five positions right is a considerable challenge, particularly in competitive Group 1 fields.
Perfect5 Comes to the Cox Plate
The Cox Plate is one of the feature races of the Australian spring, and Dabble has included the 2026 edition among its Perfect5 events.
With the race being staged at Flemington this year, punters will have another way to approach the contest beyond the usual win, place and exotic betting markets.
Perfect5 requires a different level of race analysis, with the finishing positions of all five selected runners determining the result.
That makes factors such as the likely race tempo, barriers, running styles and each horse’s ability to finish strongly particularly relevant when putting together a selection.
Where Can You Play Perfect5?
Perfect5 is available exclusively through Dabble on participating races.
Not every race will offer the product, so punters should check the Dabble app to see which upcoming events are eligible.
Dabble has also released a Perfect5 demonstration video on Instagram explaining the new feature.
