Billy Bestford previews his best bet this Sunday, and is keen to back two on the card at the Sunny Coast.

Horse racing heads to the Sunshine Coast this Sunday where there are nine races to get stuck into. The track is currently rated a good 4 while the rail is out 7 metres the entire course.

Billy Bestford has done the form and found a couple of bets he is keen on as we look to round out the weekend with some winners. Find his tips in Race 1 and Race 4.

Looking to take on the favourite here and think (16) Extremist looks a good winning chance first up. Finished 6th behind the handy Bulloo on debut in what has turned into a strong form race and was quickly put away for a spell. Has won a trial in strong fashion leading into this and gets the in-form Leah Kilner on her back.

(15) Furnace On Fire will have plenty of fans after winning two lead in trials by big margins and gets Northdruft to ride from the low draw. Looks short enough for mine however and was only fair on debut last prep.

(3) King Klaus is as honest as they come and is a real punters pal. He just doesn’t know how to give in and always finds a kick up on the speed. He made a winning return with a very tough win at Eagle Farm over Le Palmier and now returns to his beloved Sunny Coast track. He absolutely loves this place and goes in search of a 4th straight win.

(5) Desert Man will be right in this and is another honest horse. He’ll be stalking the speed and if they go hard up front can get the right run through. Has to make up a couple of lengths on the favourite however.

(4) Pizonie is definitely good enough but his first up 6th was disappointing. He should be fitter now and 2nd up record is very strong. Looks a big danger.

Billy Bestford

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
