Dabble Rocket Boost: How the Racing Odds Boost Works

Dabble Rocket Boost lets eligible racing punters launch an interactive odds boost and try to lock in a bigger price before the rocket crashes. Here’s how it works.

Dabble Rocket Boost

Dabble’s Rocket Boost puts a different spin on the familiar racing odds boost, allowing eligible customers to determine how far they want to push their boosted price.

Instead of simply accepting a predetermined boosted price, customers launch a virtual rocket and choose when to stop it. The longer it travels, the greater the potential odds boost — but waiting too long can result in the rocket crashing.

How does Dabble Rocket Boost work?

When a Rocket is available, it can be applied to an eligible selection before the bet is confirmed. After placing the bet, the customer launches the Rocket following a short countdown.

Once it takes off, the boosted odds increase until the customer presses stop. If stopped successfully, those boosted odds are locked in. Dabble says the maximum available boost is calculated randomly each time.

Which racing bets are eligible?

For racing, Rocket Boost is available on eligible single fixed-odds win bets priced at $2.00 or greater, with one boost permitted per race.

Rockets can also apply to some multis and Same Game Multis, although separate eligibility requirements apply to those bet types.

Can you use Rocket Boost with other Dabble promotions?

Not generally. Dabble states that a bet with a Rocket applied will not be eligible for certain other promotions. Rebound, for example, cannot be combined with a Rocket.

That means customers with multiple promotional options should check the conditions before choosing which feature to apply to a bet.

What makes Rocket Boost different?

Odds boosts are common across Australian bookmakers, but Rocket Boost turns the process into an interactive feature. Rather than being shown only a fixed boosted price, the customer decides when to lock in the boost while risking the Rocket crashing if they wait too long.

For racing punters, the key consideration remains the final price. A boosted price is only valuable if it represents good value compared with the odds available elsewhere.
