Bet Right RPX: How Right Price Execution Works

Bet Right’s Right Price Execution compares its racing price against the major Australian bookmakers close to the jump. Here’s how RPX works.

BetRight

Bet Right’s Right Price Execution (RPX) is a racing price feature designed to remove some of the work involved in comparing fixed odds immediately before a race.

RPX is available on Australian racing fixed-price win markets during the final 30 minutes before the jump. If Bet Right’s fixed win price is below the highest qualifying price offered by the major bookmakers included in its comparison, Bet Right can match that higher price subject to the RPX conditions.

How does Bet Right RPX work?

Bet Right describes RPX as its “Best of the Big 3” racing product. During the eligible period it compares its fixed win price with the relevant fixed win prices at Sportsbet, TAB and Ladbrokes.

If Bet Right is already offering the highest price, there is nothing to adjust. If one of those operators has a higher qualifying price when the bet is placed, RPX can match it within the product limits.

When is RPX available?

RPX applies to Australian racing fixed-price win markets from 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the race.

Bet Right currently promotes the feature across Australian thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing.

Are there limits?

Yes. RPX is not an unlimited best-price guarantee. Bet Right’s current product information states that the price match applies on winnings up to $300, with the full RPX terms and conditions applying.

Customers placing larger bets should therefore check how the limit affects their wager before relying on RPX.

Why is RPX useful for racing punters?

Prices can move quickly in the final minutes before a race. Normally, getting the best fixed price means checking several bookmakers before placing a bet.

RPX simplifies that process by building a comparison against three major Australian operators into Bet Right’s racing product. It doesn’t guarantee that the resulting price is the best available anywhere in the market, but it can provide a useful safeguard against taking a shorter Bet Right fixed price than the qualifying comparison prices.

RPX versus Right Dividend Plus

RPX shouldn’t be confused with Bet Right’s Right Dividend Plus. RPX relates to fixed-price win betting close to the jump, while Right Dividend Plus is Bet Right’s tote/SP-style product for Australian thoroughbred win bets.

Bet Right also offers Best Tote Exotics on eligible Sydney and Melbourne metropolitan thoroughbred meetings.

RPX rules, limits and eligibility can change. Check Bet Right’s current terms and the price displayed when placing your bet.
