Racing today comes from Wagga and Billy Bestford has done the form to pick out two races he is keen to bet into. There looks to be some handy horses lining up throughout the day so we should see some good quality racing.

Pretty keen on (1) Nothing Compares who looks well placed back in this company. Gets a good claim for in form apprentice Damon Budler and should find the front with ease from barrier 1 and be hard to run down.

(6) Just Business was a big winner back in easier grade last start and he’s had plenty of starts this prep so should be hard fit and is a big chance of going back to back.

(7) Lady Brook shared the spoils first up but was an impressive return to racing and she is as honest as they come. Looks to have come back in good order and should enjoy getting up to 1200m today which is her pet trip. Has a race fitness edge on key rival here.

(2) Another One is a smart 4yo who rounded out a good prep with a 2nd in the country championships. Has trialled well for his return today and could go to another level now.

Billy Bestford

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
