Racing at Bendigo on Wednesday and Trent Crebbin has previewed every race.

Racing heads to Bendigo on Wednesday for a strong midweek program.

Trent Crebbin has done the form and his best bet comes up in Race 5.

The rail is true and the track is a good 4- ideal conditions.

Very keen to see (9) Mornington Glory debut. I’m not a huge trial watcher, but his trial at Cranbourne was outstanding to my eye, and the jumpout win was very good also. The early shoppers have piled in early from $2.15 into $1.90. Looks very talented.

(2) Foturi the obvious danger with good exposed form, gets blinkers on and probably maps in front of the favourite.

(3) Riverplate should be winning, but at $1.50 he’s not a betting proposition. Ran on very strongly first up in Australia and looks ideally suited at 1400m. One to watch for a Derby perhaps.

(8) Star Midfielder was well backed on debut in a strong race and ran well behind Lina’s Legend. Can provide some resistance.

Riverplate has come out this morning, Star Midfielder looks very hard to beat now and I’m adding a unit on the win for a 1.5 unit bet.

(4) Rapid Achiever is 2/2 in her career, the latest getting the right run in mare’s bm70 grade and holding on. Drops in grade but takes on the boys here.

(2) Holster won first up off a let-up and maps beautifully from barrier 3. Has solid form in stronger races than this and looks a touch of value at each way odds.

(5) Brasada is consistent and does get Olly replacing Quilty which is a fair upgrade. Should be thereabouts again.

Keen on (8) Palace Whisper second up. She ran a great race first up at Sandown, chasing The General when just peaking late. Her run at this T/D last prep when charging late was very good. She maps well and looks a good bet.

(10) Toyz On Fire bolted in first up on the synthetic. This is much harder but she should be in the finish.

(2) Agreeable has the class but did run 3rd to Palace Whisper first up last prep at very similar weights.

(6) Flying Mascot next best, did stretch out over a trip last prep.

(13) Swamp Vixen can run a race here fresh. She easily accounted for Sandy Prince on debut who has come out and run very well in a strong Saturday race since. She was solid in a strange Mornington Guineas on a very windy day and I’m happy to forgive that run behind Daily Bugle. She’s won a jumpout leading in and at double figures I’m with her.

(9) Stelvio has run well in a pair of class 1’s since breaking his maiden at Pakenham three back. Blinkers on, Lane on, he should run well.

(10) Bold Manner won easily on debut and started $6 in a strong race, failing behind Sirileo Miss. She’s jumped out well enough.

(1) Marimenko should be winning. He bolted in first up in Australia and ran well for 2nd to The Garden who is flying. If anything, this is an easier race and the odds on quote is fair enough.

(6) Aktogali showed promise last prep. 1400m is perhaps a bit sharp but he looks the main danger.

(11) Jabali Ridge didn’t perform last prep but ran well first up in a decent race for the new stable. He showed good promise as a 2yo and might be starting to get back to some form.

(6) Bluestone Lane didn’t get much luck last start and notably gets D Lane on. With the right run he can atone.

(7) Rigel Star won okay first up at $1.70 and still has plenty of upside at just his 5th career start.

(4) Lowanna Magic’s best would win this but his last two have been disappointing and I’m not sure what to do with him.

Trent Crebbin

Trent’s interest in the thoroughbred started out as a spark with Black Caviar, became a flame with Winx, and has now intensified into a burning obsession with Arcadia Queen. He started out throwing loose change on random trifectas at the pub, but it wasn’t long before he was watching replays and looking at sectionals, weights and markets. Trent specializes in Victorian racing and hopes his first winner as an owner is just around the corner.
