(1) Destiny’s Bounty has been super impressive in two starts to date, running 2nd behind two smart horses. Was only just run down late by Overlord who we know all about and finished runner up to a smart Newnham debutant last start. Think he’ll be at peak fitness here, goes forward and will be suited to the way Canterbury usually plays.
(5) All England returned gelded and was only fair after being well supported in the market. The horse who beat him there has since come out and pulled off an incredible win, so that form might stand up to be pretty strong.
(7) Wolfburn returns gelded and has trialled up very impressively. Think he might be a different horse following the ultimate gear change and he can win here. Big watch on him.

Also Backing: (7) Wolfburn - $4.85 at BoomBet

(4) Po Kare Kare followed up some nice trials with a good debut, only being beaten late by a smart one. Will take a heap of benefit out of that run and I think with natural improvement he can be winning here. Nash taking over is a big positive and from a nice draw he will see every chance in running.
(1) Smart Little Miss should have won on debut and was quickly put away following that. A few trials since then and looks above average. Will give this a good shake.
Not sure what happened with (10) Super Vogue who trialled like he could be anything before flopping on debut. Was quite keen on him there and we’re getting four times the price tonight so have to have something on.
(7) Ruinart no doubt has ability but I think he’s short enough in what looks a pretty hot maiden.

If (1) Evening Bride can settle close enough I think she can win again. Is flying this prep, winning two in very strong fashion and looks a horse on the up. Peak fitness now and I’m just hoping Bowman can give her a nice trail in and she will let go late.
No doubt (7) Jal Lei is the horse to beat and has an imposing record from just the three starts. She flies first up and has trialled up well for the return, draws a good gate with Berry to ride and will be in the finish.
(3) Ten Bells is another lightly raced horse and found some good form last prep. 2/2 fresh and she will be hard to beat.

Don’t see any reason why (4) Maccomo can’t win again. Wet straight to the lead and bolted in here last start in the same grade. Jumps in the weights now but gets a nice claim for the in-form Reece Jones and will give a strong sight once again.
(6) Savvy Crown was pretty poor first up but is better with a run under the belt and think he can run a race here at odds. Maps for the gun trail and should appreciate rising in trip.
(8) Fiordland was very well backed last start as fav in a strong Saturday race finishing 3rd. No doubt he will grind to the line again here.
(1) Intuition struggling to find his best but if he turns up he will give this a shake.

(13) Just Business isn’t the worst in a very open race. Liked how he hit the line here over 1500 behind Maccomo and looks ideal getting up to this trip for the first time. He’s been a winner 4th up in the past and gets in nice and light.
(6) My Demetra loves this track/trip and finally broke through for another win here last start. Will go forward once again and give a strong sight.
(3) Just A Jedi had no real favours last start but still found a way to win over 1900m. Will get back and should be running on strongly again.
(11) Bedford Square looks well weighted and can win on best form.

(3) Sessions Road has fallen by the wayside a little lately but this looks much easier than what he’s been contesting. Think he’s still got talent and having first start down in Sydney here and maybe that might trigger a change of form? Taking a chance on him.
Think (7) Midsummer Rain looks a good chance coming into this off a little break. Always races well fresh and looks to slowly be building towards another win.
(1) Henschel looks ready to do something now 3rd up and dropping in grade. Will give a good showing here.

Best race of the night and I think there’s a pretty smart horse here looking for three straight wins. (5) Nasturtium has romped in both starts to date, winning by 5L and 2,5L respectively. Goes straight to the lead and should be suited by the Canterbury track. Looks progressive and confident he wins again.
(2) Miracle Day has been airborne of late and started favourite here last start. Found a bit of trouble in the run and that was off a four week break. No doubt will improve for this and looks a decent enough price.
(6) Quatenus won well last start and is a smart horse. Beginning to build a nice record and will be the one who’s charging late.
Tip: (5) Nasturtium - $3.10 at PlayUp
Betting Strategy: 2.5u WIN Nasturtium
