(5) Tavi L’amour has been given two quiet trials in the lead up to her debut today and McDonald takes the ride after riding her in one of those. She has shown she has ability and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her go close.
(2) Miss In Charge comes into this 2nd up after a good 3rd behind Verne and Lucky Sun. That race looks a handy form reference moving forward and she will only need to take natural improvement to be a factor today.
(3) Santorini Sun was last seen running 3rd here this track/trip on debut and should be a big improver having her 2nd career start today. Don’t think she will be a maiden for too long.
Tip: (5) Tavi L’amour - $5.50 at Bet365

Seven of the eight are first starters and most of them have trialled well leading into this so let’s see if we can separate them.
(6) Minsk Moment arguably looked the best in recent trials leading into this and has the strong Jmac/Waller combination in his favour today. Draws low and should be pretty handy in the run and with even luck, should be going close.
Thought (6) Confiscate was the other one to follow off the trials and looks a good winning chance. Berry should have options from gate 6 and will give him a good trail throughout.
(1) Bend The Knee has plenty of trial experience and looks the other hope, along with likely leader (3) Costly.
Tip: (6) Minsk Moment - $2.50 at Sportsbet

(1) Barrichello is now having his 3rd straight start over this track/trip and has been improving with each run this prep. Flew home last start to just miss in a tight finish and should be fitter for that.. That was only his 2nd career start and now looks primed to break through today.
(3) Electric will only be improved off a solid debut run finishing 3rd behind Savoir Faire. That horse is pretty handy and I think he looks the other main winning chance today.
Tip: (1) Barrichello - $2.60 at Bet365
Betting Strategy: 2 unit WIN Barichello

(1) Onemore Sapphire has been in very good form and a 6th career win looks close. Comes into this after two very good 2nds, with the most recent one a strong run from the back of the field, eating into the margin to the winner all the way through the line. Will handle the give in the ground and is rock hard fit now.
(6) Savvy Legend has built a handy record, missing the quinella just twice in seven starts. The query is how he will handle a wet track but can’t be counted out in his current form.
Pretty keen to see (9) Off Her Roca out to this trip now 4th up from a spell. Has been running well all prep and will enjoy the staging out of the ground today. Looks the knockout chance.
Tip: (1) Onemore Sapphire - $4.60 at Bet365
Also Backing: (9) Off Her Roca - $10 at Ladbrokes
Betting Strategy: 1.5 unit WIN Onemore Sapphire, 0.5 unit WIN Off Her Roca

(9) Eight Diamonds looks above average and is clearly the horse with the upside in the race. Walked in by 2.5L first up last prep over this trip and was last seen taking on the G1 Surround Stakes. Trials have been good leading into this and looks very hard to beat.
(3) El Buena drops back in grade today and looks well placed in this company. Wasn’t disgraced behind Marway last start and has had a trial since to keep him ticking over. He won’t mind any sting out of the ground.
Keen to play both these horses for a return on the race.
Tip: (9) Eight Diamonds - $2.50 at Bet365
Also Backing: (3) El Buena - $6.50 at Sportsbet

(1) Greek Hero ran well up in grade last start when having his first run for the new stable. He looks suitably placed back to this company today and will only improve 2nd up. Showed talent early in career and can regain best form today.
(8) Confessed is the new blood in the field, impressing at the provincials and now deserves her chance in a race like this. 3rd up now, looks ready for this trip and looks progressive.
(5) Yukon is another lightly raced horse and drops back in grade today. Showed he can be more than competitive in these sorts of races last prep and maps for all favours from the inside draw.
(2) Jungle Book is the best wet-tracker in the field and started favourite in a similar race to this last time out. Rock hard fit now and should run well again.
Tip: (1) Greek Hero - $6.00 at Ladbrokes
Betting Strategy: 0.5 unit WIN Greek Hero
