Thought the trials of (6) Vyner were good, and showed enough there to think he could be a good winning chance here on debut. Was given a very quiet time in his first trial before hitting the line strongly when asked for an effort in the most recent one. Josh Parr rode the horse on both occasions and will take the ride today. Won’t have to be a star to win this race. 

(1) Armour Force was very well backed in the lead up to his last start but could only manage 2nd as a short-priced favourite. Will only be improved from that and race experience will hold him in good stead against many of these first starters. 

(3) Loch Eagle debuts and looks the other winning chance.

(6) Bob was smashed in betting in the lead up to his last start but managed to just find one better there. Has a very strong record at this track/trip and should take improvement from the last run. He was three weeks between runs that day and should be giving another good sight today. 

(5) Hendos Magic is back in grade after a very impressive run in strong company last week. The quick backup here today must be respected and the stable have this horse in career best form. 

Interesting to see Bowman head to Hawkesbury today and he will ride (2) Man Of Sinn here for Waller. Had excuses last start at Newcastle but looks very well suited stepping up to this trip today. Look for big improvement from him.
