(1) Angerstein looks well placed to break his maiden. The form out of his last two starts has been solid, running a narrow 2^nd to the heavily odds on favourite Skywolf last start, with Bellicosity in 3^rd, who very nearly beat another heavy odds on favourite in Fan Club next start. He’s bursting to win one and outside of the favourite this isn’t a tough maiden.

(5) La Caresse has jumped out well enough to be considered a strong hope.

I think (1) New Choice will go well here. He won at this track three back to maintain his perfect record at Cranbourne, and the run in the Bairnsdale Cup was good in a similar sort of grade, if not harder. He failed last start but pulled up with cardiac arrhythmia so clear forgive there. Maps on speed, back to his ideal T/D and at $5 he’s worthy of a play.

Trent Crebbin

Trent’s interest in the thoroughbred started out as a spark with Black Caviar, became a flame with Winx, and has now intensified into a burning obsession with Arcadia Queen. He started out throwing loose change on random trifectas at the pub, but it wasn’t long before he was watching replays and looking at sectionals, weights and markets. Trent specializes in Victorian racing and hopes his first winner as an owner is just around the corner.
