Racing this Tuesday heads to Grafton where there are eight races on the card.

The track is rated a Good 4 and the rail is in the true position. Fine weather is predicted so we should see pretty fair conditions throughout the day.

(4) Selling Sunset looks a promising horse and showed good ability in her first prep, rounding it out with a 2L win over 1200m. Has speed on her side and from the inside draw I think she’ll go straight to the front and prove hard to run down.

(2) Schiller Bay always runs well without winning and has race fitness on his side today. Should be ready to peak 3rd up and deserves another win.

(1) Star Magnum comes out of the stronger looking form races from last prep and has first start for new stable today. Trialled well and looks a big winning hope.

Think (7) Squeeze Dias looks ready to win now. Went very close last start over 1400m, only being run down late and should take a heap of improvement out of that. Stable flies here at the home track and so long as she can get across early, she will give a good sight.

I think it’s worth forgiving (1) Gaslighter‘s debut run where he started $6 and was well-liked by the market. That was his only start for David Vandyke and interestingly has since changed stables. Looks a big price to bounce back after a freshen up.

(5) Gobbled is building to a win and and looks to get an easy lead if he wants it.

Billy Bestford

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
