Good little race here with a few interesting runners, and it’s hard to predict what the market will do.

(3) Human Nature makes his WA debut today for trainer Sean Rains, who trains locally and strikes at about 21% here. This horse was running around in metropolitan Sydney grade at the start of the year, before two very ordinary efforts in country NSW. He’s a horse that did show ability early, might be completely cooked but this stable can improve them.

(7) Fetch More Ammo has had four starts for this stable, resulting in a luckless 3rd followed by three straight wins. Those wins were all over 1400m-1600m so the negative here is 1100m fresh. The horse has never placed from four starts when first up, but they were all before arriving at this stable. $8 is a good enough price to bet I think.

(6) Captivated Point is first up for a new stable and goes well both first up and at this distance so keep safe.

(3) La Chiave is another for the Rains/Faithfull combination that looks hard to beat. First up last preparation won a race at this track and distance in this same grade by 3.35L. Carries just 1.5kg more today so looks well place. Just has to overcome a tricky draw.

(4) Lording is a horse with more ability than his one win suggests. Troy Turner goes straight on first up today and the horse has bar shoes off which suggests they’ve got his feet right. On best form would give this a big shake.

Throw in (10) Ziera at big odds.

I have to butter up on (10) Miner Addiction again today. He trialled super leading into his first up run, where he was valiant in defeat behind Red Fifty Three. That form has since stood up big time, with Red Fifty Three now undefeated from three career starts. Miner Addiction franked the form by winning last start and even though she steps up from maiden grade to a 58+, I think she can win again.

(3) Starorio and (8) War Class look the two dangers.
