After a great day of G1 racing yesterday we are on the quick backup straight into another big day on the track as we commemorate ANZAC Day.

We have a quality 7 race card at Randwick on the Kensington track where the track is rated a good 4 and the rail is in the true position.

(4) Rubamos resumed last start with the ultimate gear change and absolutely bolted in over 1300m. Ran decent time on the day and now looks like he can go on with it now and takes the natural step up in grade today.

(2) Yardstick is never far away in his races but was outlcassed in a strong Saturday race last start. This is much easier and he is a winning chance.

Not sure what to make of (8) Salateen. He has shown promise but has struggled to put it all together this prep. Her best can win and she looks decent value.

(5) Pesto went straight into the blackbook after his good Australian debut where he was hitting the line hard. Just got too far back on a day that suited the on pace runners. Should take natural improvement from that run and looks ready to fire out to 1800m. Very keen.

(5) Mr Dependable once again bolted in 2nd up and now steps up to 1800m here today. Is a strong front running chance and will be the one who they all need to get past.

Thought (8) Stockman was the value runner of the race and will take big improvement from a good first up run. Obviously prefers it more with the sting out of the ground but he has to go in the numbers today based on his best performances.

Probably the race of the day here and looks as strong a bm88 as you’ll see. (8) Le Gai Soleil is a deserved favourite after a dominant win last start and I think she will be hard to beat yet again. Is only very lightly raced and is starting to build a strong record. Will enjoy the perfect run throughout from barrier 5 with Jmac on board.

Thought (11) Bound To Win was also a good chance on the back of a strong first up run. Gets out to a favourable trip now and will just need some luck from the wide draw. 2nd up record is very good.

(6) Linas Hero is bursting to win after two minor placings leading into this. Not sure if I like the drop back in trip but he continues to run well.

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
