(5) Military Men will be much improved getting back on top of the ground I think. Just hasn’t been able to find a dry track recently and I expect him to enjoy this setup much more today. Should only be improved with the debut run under his belt and the booking for Jmac is always a positive.
(2) Spitfire was close up on debut, running 2nd over 1200m. Should enjoy rising in trip here and expect he’ll make natural improvement today.
(3) Caboteur has two races to his name and ran better than his SP suggested last start, showing good improvement from his debut. Was only nailed late there and will be in this for a long way.
Tip: (5) Military Men - $4.60 at Sportsbet
Betting Strategy: 1 unit WIN Military Men

I’m going to give (6) Sir Crackle one more chance following two fails since impressing at the trials. Hoping he has been searching for a good track and his two previous runs just look too bad to be true.
(2) Devil’s Throat will be a big improver following a solid run on debut. Showed plenty of talent at the trials over shorter trips so I think it’s a positive to see him drop back slightly in distance here.
(8) Vindication looks the value in the race. Wasn’t bad on debut at Wyong, and was well supported in the market that day.

(10) Trifaccia resumes to racing today and her form stands out in this sort of field. Was last seen finishing down the track in the Percy Sykes behind Jamaea. Was a nice trial recently with JMac on board and the fact he takes a rare ride for Godolphin today tells me this horse is flying.
I think (7) Lovemetender can run well and have always had a bit of an opinion for this horse. Finished 3rd less than 2L behind Najmaty and Sonnet Star first up last prep and that form looks handy enough.
(9) Ringarosa was close to breaking through on debut and should take natural improvement from that. He’ll be right in the finish.

(2) Kutayha could not have been more impressive when resuming at this track two weeks ago. He was ridden quietly and went straight past his rivals in a very good win. That was 5 weeks between runs and he will only be better getting out to this trip now.
(5) Yukon has a 1.5kg weight swing to make up on Kutayha for a 1.3L length defeat. He’ll appreciate this rise in trip and has been a winner 4th up previously. Expecting a peak performance from him.

Obviously the promising (2) Yiyi will be all the rage here after two dominant performances. The most recent was an emphatic 3L win in a stronger race than this and I can’t see any reason why he won’t be winning again. With that being said he’s too short to suggest as a bet.
I’m happy to speck (3) East Indiaman who looks a big price as he comes into this 4th up and ready to peak. Maps for the perfect trail from gate 2 and he’s yet to miss the quinella in four 4th up performances.
(6) Crazy Wolf is the other horse I’ll be having something on. Looks progressive enough and keen to see him out to this trip. Last start win was good.

(7) Mystic Rebel looks a very promising type for Mark Newnham and looks a good chance to progress through her grades here. Put the writing on the wall with at this track on debut before a dominant win in maiden grade over 1400m. This is clearly a tough ask jumping straight to bm72 but if you can trust the placement of the stable, she looks good enough for this.
(3) Centimental was a strong winner in this grade and is on the quick backup from last week. Can’t knock her form at the moment and can win again.
(2) Arctic Thunder might be looking for a dry track now and maps for the run of the race for Berry from gate 5. This is arguably an easier race than she contested last start and looks very close to a win.

(6) Parksville is an interesting runner as he makes his city debut following an incredible first prep, winning three straight after finishing 3rd on debut. Is front-running and has a likeable race pattern while the most recent trial was very good.
(5) Nags To Riches is still lightly raced and has been given a freshen up since running 7th in a strong Saturday race. Her previous form proved this horse has ability and wouldn’t surprise to see her bounce back here.
(10) Escape Artist continues to mix her form but has flashed enough talent to think she’ll bounce back today. The dry track might be what she’s looking for.
Tip: (6) Parksville - $4.20 at Bet365
Betting Strategy: 1 unit WIN Parksville
