Think (8) Toguchi looks a good chance in the opener. Continued to improve this prep and was doing best work late over 1200m last start. Career best performance came on a wet track and think she’s just about ready to peak here today. 

(3) Deora has had plenty of chances but has always showed he is capable of winning a race like this. Will be suited at this trip after bumping into a pretty smart one last start.

(8) Hold All Tickets will appreciate a bit of sting out of the ground and comes into this off a tough win over 1500m. The slight rise in trip won’t hurt  his chances and he should be able to settle up on the speed from a low draw and looks suited with the claim for Dylan Gibbons. 

(2) Condover Hall ran a good 2nd behind Hold All Tickets two back and draws a gate today. Gets a nice weight swing on him here as well. Has been very consistent all prep and will run well again. 

(6) Apache Belle will be hoping it continues to rain with her best performances coming on heavy tracks. Was getting warm late last start and should enjoy a gun run from barrier 6.

Ignore the last start 7th on the form guide for (5) Sarah Elizabeth here after she missed the start by a few lengths. The back end of that race was very good and looked to be warming up nicely. That was her first run for the prep so will only strip fitter here and this race looks very winnable for her. 

(6) Emperor Harada boxed on okay in a stronger race at Gosford last start. Continues to race consistently and I think he looks at peak fitness here 4th up. Likes it wet. 

(6) Thiswilldous looks the likely leader can could take some running down. Ran a good 4th last start in the Merriwa cup and is another who will enjoy the conditions today.
