(3) Hesket did a good job last start when beaten by a very promising filly in Arktika. He sat wide early and battled on well for 2nd in a very high rating maiden. The start prior he didn’t look all that comfortable on a heavy 10 and if he’s got one more run in him he’s clearly the one to beat with blinkers on first time.

(12) Sunday’s Best was solid on debut and has been given time with Olly taking the ride.

(1) Francine was dominant winning here last start leading all the way and winning by 3L. No issue dropping back to 1000m whatsoever and she beat a fairly good one last start, including putting 6L on her main rival here.

(2) Dinga is an interesting one. He was awful first up at Geelong and couldn’t get into the race but he’s 3/3 when 2nd up and gets the blinkers on first time here. He’s usually better fresh but that record is hard to ignore.

Trent Crebbin

Trent’s interest in the thoroughbred started out as a spark with Black Caviar, became a flame with Winx, and has now intensified into a burning obsession with Arcadia Queen. He started out throwing loose change on random trifectas at the pub, but it wasn’t long before he was watching replays and looking at sectionals, weights and markets. Trent specializes in Victorian racing and hopes his first winner as an owner is just around the corner.
