(3) Publicist was solid when resuming having his first start since being gelded. Should take a stack of improvement out of that and no doubt he’ll enjoy getting out to 1400m for the first time.

(7) Tidal Creek was okay on debut when finishing 6th. That was off the back of a solid trial and while this is tougher, he will only improve here having 2nd start today.

(6) Russian Ruble has been up for a while this prep but is building nicely and a win looks very close. Beaten less than a length in two of his last three and should be forward in the run.

(4) Indifference next best and will be a better horse with the debut under the belt.

(6) Our Belle Fille was impressive resuming behind a smart winner. Ran well above the market expectation there and that was first run for four months. Added fitness now and the rise to 1400m will suit.

(1) Chenin has had six trials throughout this year and finally debuts today. They’ve thrown the blinkers on straight away and some of her work has looked handy enough to think she can win here.

(4) Soprano ran on well from the back first up and will take benefit from that run. Gets in nice and light compared to a few of these after the 3kg claim and expect he will be running on again.

(1) De Grawin went very close to beating the smart Dragonstone first up off a long break, when that horse ran her down in the shadows of the post. She’s much better suited with rain affected ground and her 2nd up record is good. Back in grade for this and a repeat of the first up run would see her extremely hard to beat.

(2) Sixgun is resuming and goes very well first up. Enjoys the sting out of the ground and has been competitive in much better races than this.

(5) Rupertaar looks the X factor in the race, having just had the four starts for three wins. Won two on the bounce in very impressive fashion and this looks the next logical step up in grade.

(3) Duchess has trialled nicely leading into this fresh run, gets a nice claim and has a very good record over this 1000m dash.

(7) Jungle Book will appreciate getting back to his favoured Warwick Farm track and looks ready to peak now 3rd up. Likes it wet and should see a really nice run from barrier 5.

(2) Travest had a few excuses last start in a tougher race than this and will carry the same weight today following a claim. Forgive last start and on best form he looks a massive winning chance.

(4) So Sneeky is 3/3 over the mile and looked impressive winning last start at Goulburn. Gets a crack in stronger grade now but looks to have come back in good order.

(8) Girls Are Ready is a swimmer and was a winner at this track last prep. She was okay first up off a decent break but will take plenty of improvement from that and looks to get a nice setup today. If it’s a proper bog then she will be hard to beat.

(3) Nikau looked impressive 2nd up when winning at Newcastle. Might be the win she needed to get her going again and she could go on with it now this prep.

(9) Atlantic Seas has the most upside here but I’m just not sure how she’ll handle a wet track. Winner on debut on synthetic and beaten a long way in a strong race first up.

(11) Mystic Rebel looks the big improver.

(2) Zell will obviously need to improve but usually races best 3rd up and should be hard fit now. This is an easier race than the two he’s gone around in this prep and gets a big weight drop from his last start.

(11) Nishikori is a smart horse and has flashed talent in his short career. Thinking he may need the run first up but on his best form he can win this.

(10) Marnix will enjoy getting out to this trip now when running on well behind a couple of smart horses. Gets through the wet and should be right in the finish.

(6) Lepreezy looks ready to win now 4th up and having 3rd start down in Sydney for the new stable. Beat home some smart horses last start and I think she only needs to take natural improvement from that to be competitive here. Will be forward in running and has a good fitness edge on a few key rivals here.

(4) Conceited is having first start for new stable since leaving Godolphin and has shown glimpses of ability. Only career win came first up and has trialled nicely leading into this.

(2) Off Shaw loves the sting out and is a good fresh horse. Might want further but could get away with this.
