Don’t mind having something on (1) Sleipnir at an each-way price in the first. Has been good in two career starts over trips well short of his best I think. Gets out to 1400m now and looks ready to win now. Barrier 5 and Berry all positives and the current price is overs. 

(6) Alighted has been knocking on the door for a win and should be rock hard fit now. A win looks very close and her run behind High tribute last start was very good. 

(2) Captivare is another who is ready to win after stringing together five straight placings. Has had plenty of chances but puts himself up on speed and will be right in this.

(1) Verne was hard in the market on debut and was good running 2nd to a handy one. Looked to be doing best work late that day and should take a stack of improvement from that performance. Hopefully Bowman can find a good position up near the speed from the wide gate and show a good turn of foot when needed. 

(5) Montenegro has had plenty of spcaed trials leading up to his debut and looks a horse with talent. The latest was very good winning over 900m and getting warmed up late. Jmac/Waller profitable combo at the moment.

Have really liked the trials of (2) Electric in the lead up to his debut today. Has been given a pretty quiet ride in both of them but looks to be a horse with some ability. Should be able to find a good spot in behind the speed from the inside draw and this looks a very winnable maiden. 

(1) Law Party had two starts in his first prep where he narrowly went down on debut before pulling up lame next start when jumping as favourite in a strong maiden. Since trialled well, running 4th in the same trial that Electric ran 3rd in, and will benefit with race experience under his belt. 

(4) Savoir Faire is another who has shown talent at the trials and will definitely play a part in the finish going off those.

Have always had time for (6) Remlaps Gem as a horse and looks ready to go 3rd up. Went down a short-price fav fresh on a wet track before tackling a strong midweek race last start here. Keen to see him back on top of the ground and gets Bowman on board which looks a very strong booking. 

(5) Nikohli Beagle strung together three straight wins last prep before tackling a race similar to this and running well. Is a good 1st up performer and has plenty of scope for improvement. 

Think (8) Hurt Money can run well as the value in the race. Fitter for two runs back and drops back to his best trip. Can roll forward and should give a sight.

Tough race but keen to have something on (10) Queen Belissimo who looks to have a heap of upside after a strong start to her career. Three career starts has resulted in two impressive wins and a third, and deserves a crack in this sort of company. Puts herself up on speed and will be rock hard fit today. She has talent. 

(1) Cafe Royal is a deserved favourite, having tackled some stronger races thant this. Will be peking here 3rd up and the 3kg claim is a big positive. 

(11) Sur La Mer bolted in last start when a drifting favourite and can measure up today. The slight rise in trip is a positive and gets the gun run from gate 2.

(5) Bethencourt should have probably won last start on the Kensington track but ran into plenty of traffic in the straight. Did well to finish as close as he did and has been running well this prep. Has been building to a peak performance and should be rock hard fit now 3rd up getting out to 1600m. Jmac sticks for the ride and should be able to keep him out of trouble from barrier 8. 

If (4) Media Starguest has any luck from the wide gate, he will be hard to hold out. Is as honest as they come and has been in strong form. Looks well placed back in this grade and recent form around him has been franked. 

(8) Kutayha is primed to do something here after a couple of solid 4ths on wet tracks. Keen to see him back on a dry track and should be much improved today.

(8) Cadenabbia has more upside than most of these and comes into this on the back of a good fresh win. The form from that has since been franked and Annabel Neesham is airborne at the moment. Winner 2nd up in the past and maps for the perfect trail.

(11) Papal Warrior went down a whisker last start over 1300m after flying late at Scone. Looks perfectly set up today out slightly in trip and keen to see Jmca take the ride. The winning strike rate is a slight concern but looks ready to go. 

(5) Zell arguably should have gone very close last start at Kensington and is another who comes into this with a good setup. A couple pf placings leading into this show he is going well and can lead from the inside draw with a 3kg claim on his back.
