(7) Niffler was a good winner on debut earlier this year in what has turned out to be a very strong maiden. He beat home Elusive Jewel that day who has well and truly franked the form while there also been three other subsequent winners out of the race. The recent trial was very good and as long as he’s sharp enough first up here he will be hard to beat.

(8) Field Wiri went down as a short favourite last start following a good first up win. Will be fitter now and think will be suited getting out in trip.

(4) Never Second is having her first start since joining the Neasham yard and I think she looks a strong winning chance here. She usually goes well fresh and the two trials leading into today have been solid enough. Should be forward enough in the run from a low draw and hoping Berry can get the breaks at the right time.

(9) Glittery is another who is lightly raced and can sprint well fresh. She’ll enjoy any sort of rain if it comes and maps for every favour in barrier 5.

(3) Maccomo was good first up last prep and if he can reproduce something simlar to that he is another who is a good winning chance.

Billy Bestford

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
