Friday racing heads to Scone for a seven race card and Billy Bestford has done the form.
He’s found two bets he’s keen to have which comes up in Race 5 and Race 6.
Race 5 – 1200m Turangga Farm Yearling (bm58)
(9) Tequila Cabos loves the sting out of the ground and has been building nicely to a win. Ran on well from the back last start in a reasonably strong midweek race to finish 3rd. This is much easier and after the claim he’ll carry just 56.5kg.
(1) Sapphires Son has been competitive in better races than he takes on today fresh. Another who’s well in after an apprentice claim and his best can win.

Race 6 – 1600m Arrowfield (bm58)
Think (3) The Borough can knock off the favourite here. This horse is a proper swimmer and comes out of a good form race last start. Finished a length off the winner there who has since gone and won again in stronger grade. Fitter now and out to the mile 2nd up is his bread and butter. Keen!
(7) Angelical obviously has some upside and might be the better horse moving forward but happy to take on today having first start on a proper heavy track.
