It’s WA Oaks Day at Ascot, with the three-year-old fillies feature headlining a nine-race card in Perth.

The $250,000 Group 3 is supported by the Listed Melvista Stakes for the three-year-old colts and geldings.

The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail out 9m, which could play to those on speed early before evening out as the meeting goes on.

Tim Geers has previewed all nine races on the card, with his best bet coming in Race 7 and his best value in Race 6.

There also looks to be a standout performer in Race 9, which has copped the maximum 5 units at the short odds!

Best Bet: Race 7 – (10) Amasenus

Best Value: Race 6 – (11) Katona & (13) Dipara

A trip to Hong Kong quickly had Tim hooked to the racing caper, maintaining the best place anywhere in the world on a Wednesday night is Happy Valley. He holds a strong interest in the Hong Kong form, along with the metropolitan racing in Sydney and Melbourne. He’s a fan of dry tracks, Zac Purton and takes particular interest in identifying patterns in the form. Tim wears many hats, juggling the roles of form analyst, jockey manager and racehorse owner.
