Thought the run of (5) Dunbar was good first up, where he recorded the fastest final 400m of the meeting over 1000m. Now steps up to 1200m and if he can overcome the wide draw, he should be hard to hold out in this.
The other Peters runner is (10) Real Grace, who started $3.00 favourite behind The Spruiker and Timely Outburst first up, but ran last. Has had six weeks between runs and draws well here – worth respecting that SP in such a hot form race.
Big watch on (2) London Miss first up here. She normally resumes with one trial under the belt, but she’s had two trials this prep so she may be more forward. Was in very good form last prep and can run a good race at each way odds here.
(3) Bedouin Belle is ready third up now.

When the money comes from the Parnham stable, they generally win and that’s what’s happened with (7) Brooklyn Pier here. Won a 3YO handicap first up and then ran 4th in a 78+ race. Back to a 72+ today, has an awkward draw but on current form will be hard to beat.
I can’t see much wrong with the form of (3) Amasenus though, chasing her sixth straight win. She always drifts in the market too, but just keeps on winning. She’s up in grade unlike Brooklyn Pier who is down in grade, but she can win again. Never wins by much, but always does enough.

Great little race but I just can’t jump off (7) Comfort Me who is absolutely airborne this prep. Sat three-wide the trip first up and as beaten a nose. Sat three-wide the trip second up and won by a nose, and then won comfortably last start after enjoying a much better run in transit. Undefeated at the track and distance, just needs some luck from the draw.
(3) Excellent Dream is ready now third up and up to 1400m. Was ridden dead cold by the apprentice first up and then sat three-wide the trip last start when beaten a length as favourite. Draws wide again today but will go forward and be right in the mix.
(8) Moschard is flying and didn’t get much luck last start. Prior to that ran 3rd behind Leading Girl and Naughty By Nature, who then back-to-back races including the Strickland Stakes.
