(5) De Be Eleven was a bit green on debut but still ran well for 3rd in a decent maiden. They haven’t messed around, putting the blinkers straight on which I think will make a big difference.
(7) Wyld Savanna has been racing well and is another to get the blinkers on first time, but she’s had plenty of chances now.
Not a particularly deep maiden but I’d definitely rather be with De Be Eleven over the favourite.

(8) Star Of Manhattan was good late on debut and gets Willo on. Staying at 1100m and getting back in the field is perhaps the concern.
(7) Seattle Dancer maps well and has jumped out well, getting Currie first up. She’s not hopeless at double figures.
(1) Adorable Huayu should go forward from the nice gate and looks to have some talent for its debut.

(5) Mckeever has jumped out well against some quality older horses and been far from disgraced. He’s been well backed since markets opened with the trial pervs definitely chipping in early. Looks hard to beat if he can reproduce that but probably short enough now.
(6) Sleipnir is a Hawkes’ debutant who has jumped out fairly. Have to respect the camp and any money that comes for this horse.
They take up most of the market from (4) King Dick who can improve but I’m happy to stay out.

2400m maiden but it is made a bit more fascinating by (6) Yensir coming off a 3250m hurdle win against the champion Zed Em. He’s still a maiden on the flat and is heading towards the Bool. He’s definitely the best stayer in the field, it’s just whether he’ll have any acceleration over the flat. He could absolutely destroy these on class or be left standing.
(3) Jekyll’n’hyde was good in a relatively strong lead up race at this T/D last start behind TicToc. He has settled closer over 2000m from an inside barrier so expect Olly to use barrier one.
(2) Beeston Lad was just as good a run in that race and is double the price here but the jockey doesn’t fill me with confidence.
(9) Curwood can improve up in trip again.

(3) Cernan looks ready to fire 4th up. He does have a win over Fanciful Toff last prep (on a heavy track) which reads well for this. He was a touch unlucky last start and gets to his best trip.
(1) Sign Seal Deliver was a touch disappointing last start but has no turn of foot which is his problem. It all depends on how fast they go.
(6) Suppression has been crying out for ground ever since his debut but was just fair at Cranbourne last start. The win prior was solid, but it was an average race. Gets J Kah but I’m happy to risk here.

(8) Montia clearly has the best form coming into this race. She finished hard in the best last 600/400m of the night at Pakenham first up to Yosemite, who won at Geelong on Tuesday, and whilst she finished last at Caulfield, 3.5L off Agreeable certainly reads well enough for this. The track is a soft 5 on race morning and shouldn’t get much wetter which helps.
(6) Namakwa was good first up at Werribee in a bm58 with 63kg and did win 2nd up last prep. Has a map advantage over Montia but has a bit to find on class.
(1) Torgersen drops in grade and is going better than the form guide would suggest, but still has to carry 61kg after McNeil’s claim and doesn’t win many.
Montia won’t get a better chance to record another win than this.

(11) Dirty Deeds was good late first up off a let up on a good 3 and a slightly softer track here will definitely help. She should also get a faster race shape and a good map with Kah on board.
(13) Royal Marine faded late after leading at Sale. Does race well at 1400m and draws barrier one.
(15) Via Capo races well at Bendigo and at 1400m but I’m not sure if he’s suited dropping back in trip off just 8 days, likely getting back in the field.
(10) Ring Of Honour just couldn’t get into the race first up but his best form would be very competitive here. The narrow 3rd to Chaillot and Titan Blinders is exceptional form and they’ve replaced Stockdale with Nolen. The race first up was dominated on pace and he had to carry 60.5kg topweight.

Looks a race in two for the last. It’s difficult to assess (8) Palace Whisper who was flying before last start over this T/D where she was awful, finishing last and subsequently pulling up lame. Her two wins prior were very good.
(11) Safeeya does look the one if Palace Whisper isn’t at her best. She gets in with 55.5kg, gets J Kah on from a nice barrier, and did absolutely bolt in first up over 1400m last prep to break her maiden. She then ran 3rd (beaten 6L) to Ayrton, who looks a star in the making, before an unlucky run at The Valley over 1600m, which I’m not convinced is her best trip. She’s jumped out very well and should go close.
(5) Cirrina next best with Nolen replacing Harry Grace and a nice map, coming out of a couple of decent form races.
