(3) Andermatt resumes from a spell here and looks to have found a very nice race. He’s undefeated from three starts when first up from a spell and he has a win and a 2nd from two starts on heavy ground. JMac booked, expecting him to win.

(9) Diamil was sound at his Australian debut and then bolted in at his second start when stepping up to 1400m at Warwick Farm. Should handle the step up in grade today and obviously handles conditions. If he continues his improvement he should prove too strong for this field once more.

(1) The Big Easy comes to Sydney after three runs in Victoria and he looks ready to win a race like this. He won at Rosehill in similar company last prep, which was also on a heavy track. He draws barrier 1 today which should be advantageous and gets Pike in the saddle for Maher and Eustace. Expecting him to go close.

He holds a strong interest in the Hong Kong form, along with the metropolitan racing in Sydney and Melbourne. He’s a fan of dry tracks, Zac Purton and takes particular interest in identifying patterns in the form. Tim wears many hats, juggling the roles of form analyst, jockey manager and racehorse owner.
