Think (2) Divina can return racing much improved after a solid 3rd on debut earlier in the year. Will only have improved from that and has trialled well since. That debut run was behind Hilal who we know went on to run well in some black type races.

(1) Decisive Move will roll straight to the front from gate 1 and is another who should take big improvement from a placing on debut. Need to always be wary of Tim Clark on these front-running types.

(2) Cape Breton has been seen at the trials numerous times and now finally makes his debut. Has looked good there and looks a horse who can definitely make a winning start to his career. Jmac for Waller is always a big positive and should get the gun run in transit.

(11) Stick To Your Guns is another who has looked good at the trials and should roll forward and take some catching from the low draw.

Thought (4) I Am Good At This could be the value runner in the race. Has shown ability in three trials leading up to this and would be the one I could back at an EW price.

Pretty keen on (1) Azarmin here over 1550m. Has been flying recently and made up for a luckless placing two starts back with a very impressive win over this trip last start. Thought this race looked no harder and she should be ready to fire after a little freshen up leading into this. McDonald sticks for the ride and this horse only needs to hold her form to be another good winning chance.

(8) Wild Irish should be ready to do something 4th up now following an encouraging 2nd last start over 1500m. Has done best career work when 4th up and looks well placed here at the weights.

Tip: (1) Azarmin - $2.95 at SportsBetting

Betting Strategy: 1.5 unit WIN Azarmin

I really think (1) Osamu can bring up a 2nd straight win after finally breaking his maiden tag last start. This horse has been thrown in the deep end his whole career and run some good races against some of the better horses going around. Finally got the confidence boosting win he deserved and looks well placed back in these types of races. Stable flying and gets a nice 3kg claim to offset the big weight.

We were on (2) Fastconi last start when a strong 2nd to Cadenabbia who goes around an odds on fav in the last today. Will be nearing peak fitness now and looks hard to beat with any luck from out wide.

(9) Zou De Moon was only narrowly beaten by Azarmin last start before going for a spell and that form is reasonably good for this kind of race. Has plenty of upside and will only improve into her 2nd career prep.

Tip: (1) Osamu - $4.00 at Sportsbet

(2) O’Mudgee looks a good chance dropping back in grade for this after a massive run for 2nd at Scone last start. Has been airborne this prep and deserves another win. Hoping Jmac can ride him a touch more positive dropping back in trip here and has the class to win.

(3) Ranges was a good last start win and has been a winner 3rd up previously. Has to take the step up in grade now but looks a winning chance.

(10) Chervil ran a good 4th in a strong bm72 last start behind Turnstyle and Tiny. Will only improve off the back of that and that form is good enough for this race today.

Going to side with (5) Sir Aglovale in this very open affair. Was pretty unlucky in his first Australian start when 5th behind Azarmin and you could argue if he saw clear air at the top of the straight, could have made a race of it. Looks well suited getting up in trip and providing Bowman can find a spot early, looks a strong chance.

(9) Raptures will appreciate getting back on top of the ground and loves this 1900m trip. Has been in good form this prep and looks well placed here.

Blinkers go on for (6) Vigorous Flow 4th up following a good prep so far. You’d think he looks ready to run a big race and is still only lightly raced. Jmac should give him the perfect steer from barrier 5.

Don’t think the chances end there and you could make a case for almost all of them.

Tip: (5) Sir Aglovale - $6.00 at Bet365

Betting Strategy: 0.5 unit WIN Sir Aglovale

(3) Cadenabbia returned to racing with an impressive win in the wet over 1300m. Will only have to improve off that run to be a very strong chance today. Like the rise in trip and has won over this distance before. Looks to have a horse with fair share of ability and can handle the step up to this grade.

(1) A Magic Zariz has been flying at country level and comes to town in some career best form. The 8 year old isn;t getting any younger but is consistent and as tough as they come. The 3kg claim is a plus.

(6) Canyonero looks to be the big improver at odds after a forgive run last start where he pulled up with some issues. Had been in good form before that and his 3rd behind Steely and Mensa Missile two starts ago looks very good now.

Tip: (3) Cadenabbia - $2.10 at TopSport

Value: (6) Canyonero - $19 at Sportsbet

Betting Strategy: 2 unit WIN Cadenabbia, 0.5 unit EW Canyonero

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
