Friday racing heads to Geelong with an eight race card on offer to round out the week.

The track is rated a good 4 with the rail out 8 metres.

Billy Bestford has done the form and has found two bets as we look to find some winners to fill the pockets for the weekend.

Hoping the rain forecast doesn’t hit too hard and (2) Enosi looks hard to beat if that is the case. He’s no slouch on rain effected but think he will enjoy getting on top of the ground now. He’s been building well this prep and it doesn’t look an overly strong race. Can hit back.

(7) Sirocc0 Gale drops out of listed company for this and has to be in with a chance. Was good two back and clearly the stable think he has some ability.

Thinking it was a bit of second up syndrome for (11) Star Waltz who was extremely poor last start. That followed a good fresh run and she has been much more competitive in strong races than a bm58. Ran a 3rd to Espiona last prep and 3rd up now she is ready.

(4) Gunna Gunna drops in grade as well and should put herself up on speed and give a good sight. Had been racing in consistent form this prep.

(8) Apache Star failed as favourite in Adelaide last start and has had a freshen up since. Draws low here and can make own luck. Winner from only other 4th up run previously.

Billy Bestford

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
