I love the set-up for this Smart Missile mare. (5) Happy Candy has been running around in slightly higher grades in her last three and will be at peak fitness for her step back to a benchmark 68. Two starts ago at Canterbury was solid being comfortably held a bay by Invinciano before a brave run at Kensington-Randwick, going down by less than a length in fourth to Le Gai Soleil.

She stays at a mile which is ideal, and the track conditions won’t worry her at all. Tyler Schiller is back aboard who gets a vital 2kg claim which will bring her down 56kg and with a solid record on her, I expect her to be right in the thick of this. She has drawn barrier one and will no doubt go forward in this race and prove hard to catch.

(2) Glamour Fox is the only one that scares me though her wet form is suspect.

After a brilliant run last start at this track, I must be with this Eurozone mare again. (4) Donnachiara will be hitting peak fitness here as she looks to make it 2/2 over the 2100m. She ran well last start winning on the line over the favourite in Electrified. She goes up 2kg on that run and gives every indication that she will have no issues in the soft conditions with 2/3 failures in her first two runs of her career and the other was on a heavy track in a Group 3. With a similar draw to last start, Regan Bayliss will park the mare off the fence and three pairs back which will give her every chance late in the piece. Willing to have the punt on her again.
