Moree hosts an eight-race card on Friday, with a Good 4 track sure to be a welcome sight for punters who have been dealt heavy tracks in New South Wales all week.

Two races on the card have caught the eye of Joshua Reed, those being Race 5 and Race 7.

I really like the step back to the mile from 2200m for (4) True Bell.

She is on the quick backup after her 10.5 length fourth placing behind Total Recall at Scone. Before that she ran well and won at Armidale over the 1900m.

I think from the awkward draw that they will go forward and sit just behind the leaders which she is used to doing. Belinda Hodder, who has ridden her for four of her last five starts (for two wins) rides her again and will give her every opportunity to win this event.

This bloke has a a good preparation thus far and I think this is going to continue. (3) Thousand Island is coming back from a freshen up after his one length defeat behind Fight For Love at Armidale.

Before that, he saluted at Armidale over the 1400m in a benchmark 58 where he led the entire way for a 1.3 length win. He drops back 100m for this class 2 event which is the key here for him getting another win.

Ben Looker returns to ride and with little speed in the race, expect him to stroll to the lead from barrier 9 and dictate the race. He will be hard to beat.
