(4) Quintello is lightly raced and really came into her own last prep, winning two and running in the placings the other two. She’s better on the fresher side and was a dominant winner first up last time out.
(7) La Rocque was okay fresh off the back of some good trial work and she will be better for that run. Winner 2nd up in the past and if she can find her best form she isn’t out of this.
(2) Merlin’s Charm is flying and chasing her fourth straight win here. Was wide at The Valley but still to strong running down Cirrina.
(3) Cirrina was only grabbed late fresh by the horse above. Sure to take a stack of improvement out of that and likes racing here at Mornington.

(6) Do It La grinded away in the Sires last start and will enjoy rising the extra 100m here. Expect her to roll forward and I think she can turn the tables on the other favourite.
(1) Yaki Ishi was an enormous price last start in that same race but ran very well to finish 3rd. He’s still a maiden but clearly has upside and I’d be shocked if one of these two wasn’t winning.
The race really falls away here but (5) Skyphios and (8) New York Rose might the ones who can fill the minor money.

(2) Midwest is unbeaten through five starts since being gelded and has been running serious time at each outing. Goes to the lead and at such a high cruising speed he is incredibly tough to get past. Jockey knows the horse well and will rate him well once again.
(7) Belsielle has jumped out well and is usually a good fresh horse. Went to a new level last prep and off the back of a strong speed he can be the one who runs over the top of them.
(5) Starry Legend is smart and has jumped out in good order. Unbeaten from 2 goes fresh and loves 1000m. On best form he is hard to beat here.
I’ve liked the trials of (3) Destination and he’s a very good fresh horse. Stable is flying at the minute.

Think (12) La Vina can run a race here at an EW price. Cracking fresh horse with three wins from four and a recent trial was very impressive. No doubt better on wet but in an open race I think she gets a nice run and can fill a hole.
(7) Evening Glory is flying, and very nearly won a tougher race than this fresh. Probably should have won last start at The Valley but racing pattern doesn’t help. The inside draw is a bit sticky here but with any luck he will go close.
(11) Jump The Broom is unbeaten from three career starts and clearly has the most upside in this. All three wins have come in the wet so we will see if she can do it on top of the ground now.
(10) He’s Exceptional is ready 3rd up and dropping significantly in grade. Wide draw is the query.
(3) Typhoon Harmony goes well first up and is ultra consistent. Sure to be right in this.

(3) Rousseau has been racing in great form and will enjoy getting up to 2000m here following a nice win last start over a shorter trip. The half length defeat to Crystal Pegasus two back looks strong enough form for this.
(2) Wycliff was a good winner in Adelaide two back and then solid enough in a stronger race at Caulfield. Looks well placed back in this grade.
(9) Agnelli has been in good form as well, starting in favourite in last two. Ran 2nd to Gentleman Roy three back and that form continues to stack up. He’s right in this.
(8) Divine Diosa is consistent and if there was any rain around would be right in the numbers.

(2) Pondus was dominant rising quickly to 2000m 2nd up and looks even better suited getting out to this trip now with two good runs under the belt. There looks to be enough tempo here to think he can be running on late again.
(4) Crystal Pegasus is a promising stayer and continues to just find a way to win. Looked even better when stepping up to 2600m last start but will just have to handle the slight drop in trip now.
(1) Defibrillate should be ready to peak now 3rd up and has been good this prep. If he runs 2400m he should be in the finish.
(3) Sacramento will lead these up and is next best.

(2) Signore Fox looks a big price and very keen to see him resuming on a dry track. He can mix it with the top line sprinters on his day and has trialled up super for his return. He goes very well fresh and has been competitive in much stronger races than this.
(6) La Mexicana is a good 1200m horse and proved she’s up to this sort of grade last prep. She gets in nicely here down in the weights and will give a good sight.
Think (9) Chassis is a big watch having first start for Maher Eustace. If there’s money for her then take not.
(5) Superium won’t know himself down on 54kg and has been very good closing off in recent starts. Gets his chance here.
(7) Hightail is a big price and goes better with a run under the belt. Clearly not at best but could run a race from a nice draw.

I like (8) British Columbia getting to the mile now and is another who is lightly raced and progressive. Expect he will be up on the lead and could be tough to run past.
(5) Sharp Response comes out of the Aus Guineas and was solid enough there. Made good ground from the back and had been building nicely before that. Can hit back here.
If (12) Ancient Girl is here she goes very close. Found her groove this prep, winning twice and finishing 3rd to Barb Raider and Cardigan Queen. That form is very good for this and she’s well on the up.
(2) Daily Bugle can win if he finds his best. His early career form was very good and might be ready to show something again.

Hard to ignore the form around (10) Savannah Cloud, finishing 3rd last start to Yonce and Gentleman Roy. They both won again last weekend. Savannah has only missed the placings once in 13 starts so he rarely runs a poor one. Will be up on speed and is rock hard fit now.
(7) Basarwa has to be in with a chance only finish 1L off SC last start. Maps for a lovely run here and sure to be a big threat.
(1) Trosette is an interesting runner having first start in Aus. Strung together four straight wins at end of last prep – How good? Any rain helps.
(12) Jaffastock is airborne and proven over the mile.
