It looks a great Friday meeting in Musswellbrook where there is a strong 8 race card to see us into the weekend.

The track is currently rated a soft 5 and the rail is out 5 metres. There is also a cutaway in the home straight which will be something to take note of. It looks set to be a warm day so don’t be surprised to see the track move into the good range.

(3) Winside has been well backed in early markets and for good reason. Looks a very progressive 3 year old, having won both career starts to date in impressive fashion. Can take a prominent spot from the low draw and looks one of the better bets on the card today.

(1) Rubic Honour returns to the track after a very strong preparation culminating in two good wins. Can run a race fresh and and the stable are flying at the moment. Blinkers first time is also a good sign he’s ready to win.

Pretty keen to be with the smart (14) Remlaps Gem in the closer here this afternoon. Has shown plenty of talent so far in his career and the stable has taken plenty of time with him. Comes into this off the back of a tidy 6L trial win and looks ready to fire over this trip fresh. Keen to be with him at the current $3+ on offer.

(3) Human Nature is an interesting runner who makes his debut for a new stable today. Never really came on last prep but his best form has him well in this. Placings behind Alfa Oro and Satorial Splendor, while being competitive in strong Stakes races show that he definitely can’t be underestimated. At the current price he looks a good value bet.

(7) Iamacrumpet won well fresh last start over the 900m and is always a chance in these types of sprint races. Is nearing peak fitness and will run well.

Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since.
