There are plenty of stakes class horses resuming and Trent Crebbin has three bets on the card, coming up in Race 5, Race 6 and Race 8.

It wouldn’t shock to get a slightly better price but banking on (5) November Dreaming’s class to carry her a very long way here. She’s clearly the best horse in the race, and her first up win last prep was electric. 1200m is the knock here but this is a very average bm70 and she’ll be absolutely charging at the line.

(1) Nikau Spur looked good in his first Australian campaign. The maiden win at The Valley was outstanding and the trial was good, trucking through the line nicely under very little pressure. In a race where many have hit their mark, he looks like he can progress into a handy Saturday class of horse.

(8) Always In Moment was dominant breaking her maiden here over 1200m last start and will be hard to beat again.

We’re getting a very backable price about (1) Groovy Kinda Love here who should be very hard to beat again. She’s been dominant in her last two, both over this T/D. I don’t think she has to lead if Lane doesn’t want to and I see no reason to jump off given she was $1.35 last win and you’re getting $1.95 tonight.

(7) Pal D’oro is the obvious danger after finally breaking through last start, but did fall in on the line in what was a fairly weak Ballarat maiden.

Trent Crebbin

Trent’s interest in the thoroughbred started out as a spark with Black Caviar, became a flame with Winx, and has now intensified into a burning obsession with Arcadia Queen. He started out throwing loose change on random trifectas at the pub, but it wasn’t long before he was watching replays and looking at sectionals, weights and markets. Trent specializes in Victorian racing and hopes his first winner as an owner is just around the corner.
