(2) Arctic Wolf looks well placed third up at 1600m. He was too strong with a whopping 64kg first up and just missed 2^nd up. The step up in trip looks ideal and he draws well in barrier 3 with improvement to come and Stackhouse replacing Kersley.

(9) I Am Chickasaw is the equal favourite but is now 5^th up and whilst his last two runs have been very good, one of them was on a very heavy track and he fell in last start. I’m thinking he’s coming to the end of his prep whereas Arctic Wolf should be close to peaking.

Handy little contest and despite barrier one I’m siding with (6) Scream Dream. I think he comes out of the best form race behind Entrapped and Savannah Cloud where he missed the start but ran on well in the 2^nd fastest last 600/400/200m of the race. Up to 1400m suits and 2^nd up last prep he ran 2^nd to Rainbiel which is very good form. If he jumps with them from barrier one he’ll just need a touch of luck and if he gets it I think he’s better than these.

Trent Crebbin

Trent’s interest in the thoroughbred started out as a spark with Black Caviar, became a flame with Winx, and has now intensified into a burning obsession with Arcadia Queen. He started out throwing loose change on random trifectas at the pub, but it wasn’t long before he was watching replays and looking at sectionals, weights and markets. Trent specializes in Victorian racing and hopes his first winner as an owner is just around the corner.
