Have a feeling (10) Tauty bumped into a pretty good one here last start over 1400m. That horse is now a live chance in the Kewney Stakes on Saturday. Tauty made up good grade that night, hitting the line strong and up to the mile now looks ideal. Hasn’t put a foot wrong all prep and really deserves another win.

(3) Dunalley comes out of same race as Tauty and crossed the line with her so has to be a chance. They are probably too far apart in the market for mine so we can have something small on her as well for a collect. I think the form out of that race will be strong.

(4) Fantastic Galaxy looked like she would enjoy getting out over further after a solid debut when grinding away over 1400m. Will be much better for that run and she should be winning a maiden soon.

(3) Dunalley comes out of same race as Tauty and crossed the line with her so has to be a chance.

(8) Oriental Legend is the horse with much more upside than a lot of these and I think he is worth following off that last-start win. Led them up and was challenged but dug deep to find the line and I think he’s better suited rising to this trip now. Frosty sticks for the ride and as long as he can find a spot just off the leaders, he’s the one I want to be with.

Was on (2) Kermy last start and I have no idea how he didn’t win there. Once again he ran super honest and you can’t knock him and his likeable racing style. He could run them off their feet here and get away with it.

Billy Bestford

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
