(7) Think I’m Divine comes out of a listed 2yo race and he ran very well. Ran the 2nd fastes L200 of the entire meeting there so he is clearly ready for the extra 100m here and will be better for that experience.

(3) Lethal Thoughts has looked good at jump outs and has been well backed in early markets. I think he might need the run and will be better over further.

(4) Skyforger was well backed on debut and was solid enough. Will improve off the back of that and don’t doubt there is  a maiden win in him soon.

(2) Freaky Friday next best.

(7) Treotto looks a smart debutant for Mick Kent. Won a recent jump out in very quick time and the form out of that has been good with a couple of subsequent winners in behind him. Barrier 1 should see him close in the running and with even luck he should be winning.

The clear danger is (5) Legend Of The Fall who has impressed with his work at the jump outs. He beat some good horses in a recent one and is sure to be ready to fire fresh.

(3) The Black Panther looks the blowout.

(6) Hollywood Park looks ready now 3rd up and getting out in trip. Been well in the market at both runs to date and has performed well. He can find the front from the low draw and hard fit you would expect he takes some running down. No jockey booked at the moment however so just keep an eye on that.

(7) Whirly Jig looks like a proper stayer and has been good to the line in two starts to date. I think he is still looking for further but this is getting to a more suitable trip and barrier 1 will see Froggy give him every chance.

(8) Diamond Dagger is still searching for a win but gets a good chance here. Blinkers go on and expect him to have the last crack at them.

(4) Vale Street next best.

It was a sick watch on (8) Tempestarii last start when hardly getting a crack at them and had plenty to offer. Good draw today should see every chance and I think she goes very close here rising to 1400m.

(7) Sigourney had one start in NZ and has since transferred across the ditch. Should have finished closer in that race and has to be a chance in this wide open event.

If (6) Sheer Pumpkin can jump with them today she has to be a chance. Her work late on in both starts has been very good and looks ideally suited getting up to 1400m now.

(4) Lottacheex was very good fresh and then put in a flat run 2nd up. Think you can just put a pen through that run and expect she is ready to peak now.

Tip: (8) Tempestarii - $3.80 at Bet365

(6) Banderas is ready 3rd up now and is a winner from one 3rd up run in the past. That win also came over 1400m and the stable is in good form of late. Looks the value.

(4) Manasa looks a danger. Most of these are struggling while she looks to be tackling this in improving form. Solid enough fresh over a trip short of her best but suited now and still has upside.

(3) Alverdun is another with a bit of upside and could be the X factor in this race. Probably better over a touch further but couldn’t knock in a field like this.

(2) Eclipse Solar is impossible to assess. Been a few tips around for him this prep but has been severely disappointing. Blinkers on today though and there is early money for him.

Back to 64 grade I expect (1) Island Edition to be hard to hold out. Has been racing super consistently this prep without breaking through but gets his best chance here. Was only narrowly beaten in bm78 last start and I think he will enjoy 1100m. Got a fitness edge on key rival.

That rival is (4) Harannda who debuts in Australia today since joining the Freedmans from the UK. Looked solid enough at two Flemington jump outs and think it will be interesting to see what the market does.

(1) Eagle Spirit the blowout chance.

(4) Tavistorm was hardly disgraced at group level last start in the Tulloch, finishing 5th. He pulled up with post race issues there so has clearly run out of his skin. Back to this grade he looks hard to beat and I think he looks as if he will enjoy all of the 2200m here.

(10) Anchorman looked good rising to this sort of trip last start and has been racing in good form. Super consistent and deserves to notch another win.

(9) Rosenstrasse is another in good form and has been a touch unlucky at recent runs.

 

Tip: (4) Tavistorm - $2.25 at TopSport

Betting Strategy: 2.5u WIN Tavistorm

(3) High Done drops in grade for this and has been in solid form. He can find the front from the low draw and can give them something to catch in a wide open race.

(2) Cheryl’s Lad looks to be hitting his straps and is suited 3rd up to this trip. The fresh win was very good and measured right up in this grade last start. Will get a nice run off the speed.

(5) Acheus can give a good sight up near the speed. Hard fit now and does have some strong 3rd up form.

(9) American Actress looks an improving type and think this race is a bit weaker than what she went aorund in last start.

Tip: (3) High Done - $5.50 at Bet365
