(8) Scientific will give Kah a good chance of notching up her 100th winner. She was solid chasing last start and with no real leader perhaps Kah takes her straight to the front as she did with Crestani last week.

(2) Semenuk ties in through Crestani, having chased fairly well when Kah gave that horse a great ride. He’s another that could push forward from a wide gate with the 3kg claim.

(4) Amfissa might need a touch further than 1400m but was solid in the Scientific race last start.

If Kah doesn’t get her 100th in the first, I’m confident she’ll get it here. The debut win of (6) Murrumbidgee River was outstanding on the synthetic, sitting back and circling the field, charging away to win by 3L. The form out of that race is already stacking up, the 1800m will suit this son of Fiorente perfectly and if he handles a soft track I expect he’ll win.

(10) Videmanette looks the danger up from Tasmania. Been racing very well and very likely settles in front of the favourite on a track that was very leader biased last time it was raced on.

(8) Cafe Rizu can improve 2nd up and up in trip for an airborne Froggy Newitt.

(10) Diamond Dagger could be the value here. She beat home the favourite Write The Score when they met, coming from back in the field, and again hit the line from a long way back at $1.50 on the synthetic last start from a wide barrier. Of the horses in the market I think she’s the one that wants 1600m the most, and she can settle closer from barrier 4. At $10 she’s a bet.

(11) Write The Score has the SP’s and ran well first up in the Diamond Dagger race, a bit unlucky not to win. She atoned last start, again when slightly held up, and has run well at 1600m, 2nd to Butter Chicken last prep. If Kah slots in she’ll be hard to beat.

(1) Always In Moment was a complete forgive two back when $3.30 against Nikau Spur, and atoned with a strong on speed win over 1300m. Has to extend to the mile, goes up 4.5kg and loses D Lane which are queries, but maps beautifully.

Of the maiden winners I want to be with (3) Citaleon who looked good winning at Moe on debut on a heavy track. I think 1300m will suit him and I loved the gap back to 3rd in that race. Gets a lovely map and a 3kg claim for Alana Kelly, who is riding well at the moment.

(4) So Risque was too good at Swan Hill on debut, getting a lovely run. Maps to do so again from barrier 1 with Kah on.

(1) Mccain has won 2 from his last 3 and wasn’t disgraced in much harder grade for the only loss. Tricky map from an inside draw.

(5) Barragunda won well last start at Geelong.

Could make a case for (11) Unfair Dismissal. He missed the start by 3L last week and ran on well, beaten 3.3L. He hasn’t had the opportunity to be on speed this prep, but on the quick backup, out to 1600m, with 55kg from barrier 3, if he jumps cleanly expect him to be right up there.

(2) Killourney drops back from 2000m out of a strong race behind Yonkers. The jumpout since was just fair but his run two back at 1600m is good enough for this.

(4) Starouz was solid first up and pulled up lame last start behind Degraves in a bm90. This is much easier, and 3rd up last prep she did split Sovereign Award and Titan Blinders which is strong form. Melham takes the ride and I think she can bounce back nicely.

(10) Bottom Line is racing well and should be fine at 1600m.

Found this quite tough. (8) High Risk battled on well for 3rd at Flemington last start. 1000m on soft ground is the key to her, and she maps forward.

(5) Our Musketeer looks the likely leader and off her SP last start I could make a strong case for her here. She started $4.80 and pulled up with a slow recovery when down the track, but the first up win was good and she gets in with just 52.5kg here.

(3) Elite Legacy finished 2nd in that race and ran on well. He’s got a good 2nd up record, especially if you ignore last prep when rearing at the start and jogging home.

(10) Remastered was good in the High Risk race and should run well again.

Not a betting race. (2) Excelida will get back and charge home as she usually does, but does struggle to win and needs a lot to go her way. Her first up run was very good.

(9) Zimowy bolted in last start when leading but only narrowly won a bm58 the start prior. Froggy is airborne and she’s a mare in form so she’s hard to discount.

(10) Teramia is racing well and should do so again.

Very interested to see (8) Loveplanet back at the races. He’s very exciting and looked to be a horse that would take on some hot 3yo races in the Autumn, but they’ve given him time. His maiden win was dominant and he looked good at The Valley, it’s just where he’s at. Drawn wide for Waller he’ll likely go back. No idea what the market does but it’s probably the best guide.

(4) National Choice was solid first up and gets Kah replacing Cartwright. If he goes forward he should be in the finish.

(13) Sessions Road next best up in grade.

$3 about Loveplanet is probably fair enough but watch the market.
