(8) Hemsted might be able to control this from the front and will go a long way to winning if he can do so. Drops 6kg on last start performance on a heavy track and grinded away to the line. Better suited on dry.
(2) Do This All Day probably the best hors3 in this race but is is staying at 1600m 2nd up. Would’ve liked to see them stretch out over further but he clearly has enough ability to win this.
(7) Dodecanese comes out of same race as Hemsted and ran well to finsih 2nd. Doesn’t win out of turn and looks short enough at the current price.
Tip: (8) Hemsted - $5.50 at Ladbrokes

(1) Viren looks well placed today dropping back to a bm64. He’s been going around in Saturday bm72s and 78s his last four starts and has been far from disgraced there. Will only carry 58kg after Reece Jones claim and he draws nicely in barrier 1. Hopefully he can find the front and will have a bit of class on these.
(4) Dalgarno ran on well when rising to 1800m last start and should be suited with the extra trip again. Looks to get a nice run from gate 6 and should be in the finish.
Tip: (1) Viren - $2.70 at Ladbrokes

(3) El Nido was absolutely smashed in betting leading into the debut run. She ended up just grinding away into 4th there but looked like she would appreciate getting over further. The stable are one of the best at getting their hoses to improve getting out in trip and hoping she’s no different.
(5) Auzstar looked to get every opportunity last start when leading them up but knocked up badly to finish 9th. Was going well before that so might be worth forgiving?
(6) Diorissima looks next best and has been solid without winning in her career. Recent trial was really encouraging!

Happy to be with (6) Snitzonfire here who stuck on really well last start in a handy Saturday race. That was his first start for a couple of months and it was the first time he had been beaten in four career runs. Expect he’ll be better for that, they’ve thrown the blinkers on for the first time so I’d expect he leads and will prove tough to run down.
(3) Wisdom Of Water is a tough horse to back with any confidence but this is a fair bit easier than some races he’s been going around in. Showed enough in last two runs to think he’s going well enough and out to 1200m now could be the key.
(1) Head Legislator put up back to back wins to finish the prep following a string of runner-up finishes. Might have turned the corner now.

(2) Rock The Bells can run well here in an open race. Good 3rd fresh when returning from a long break and should take improvement from that. Will only get better over further and this trip suits 2nd up.
(9) Beenvane looks a decent value chance having just her third start today. Beaten in a hot maiden on debut at huge odds and then won well running down the leaders 2nd up. Looks suited getting to the mile.
(1) El Parmy and (7) King Of Spades looks the two who might have the most potential moving forward but I’m not confident to be with them today at their prices.

(12) Miss Hellfire comes into this off the back of two trial wins when leading throughout. Both were under a hold and she looks an exciting 2yo for the Snowdens. She’ll probably sit just off the leaders who with a bit of pace on and should see the right run.
(1) Command Approved won at a short price on debut when leading throughout. He was a bit green there and only needs to take improvement from that to be a good winning chance here. Looks progressive.
(6) Speak Now was beaten less than a length by Command Approved on debut and is almost four times the price. Hit the line strong up the rail and looks the value.
(2) Hell I Am trialling well and gets Bowman on who sticks from the trial win. Sure to be popular.

(14) Rita May looked the goods at her 2nd career start when bolting in over 900m She’s got plenty of gate speed and hopefully can find the front from out wide and is the only horse in this race who is yet to find their ceiling.
(4) Longbottom is always competitive in these sorts of midweek sprints and is a proven performer fresh.
(1) Toto might be ready to do something third up and has continued to get better each run.
(5) Tudor Music brings the best form to this race and a 3kg claim will get him in reasonably well at the weights. His best form puts him right in this.
