Tipping (6) Miss Vasari to bounce back from a disappointing effort last start, where she started odds-on but failed to make an impression. Respecting her SP from that race – she meets several of the runners she was up against last time – and also her good first up win. Three weeks between runs, so she should be fresh. Slight query is the speed map but we were taking odds-on last start and get $4 today.

(5) Dunbar is another that started favourite last start but failed to win. He was back, held up and never really got a chance to build momentum. He ran home in similar splits to Campese, who he is double the price of today. The stable is absolutely flying, Pike just needs to get the tactics right.

(9) Rocky Path is a blowout chance.

Something small on (9) Bumper Humper here, who trialled enormously leading into this. Was never put under pressure at any stage and went to the line under a complete stranglehold. Pike on first up is a good lead and $6 is an appealing price.
