Canterbury night racing continues this Friday with eight races on the card to build the punting bank for a huge weekend of racing.

It is unknown at this stage which way the weather will swing, so betting around horses that are handy on different surfaces will be a nice strategy.

The rail is in the 3m position which generally is pretty fair at Canterbury, but of course on-pace runners always have a slight advantage.
