There looks to a little bit of speed here and I am of the strong belief this gelding will be right behind the speed ready to pounce. (4) Coco Cuber has had three starts since changing to the Snowden stable and has been slowly hitting his straps. He was fair last start behind Vreneli after being slow to begin. He raced keenly throughout and was checked around the 900m mark when caught on to heels of another runner. He continued to race keenly but still managed to finish 1.7 lengths back in third. The step back to provincial level is ideal and the drop back to a benchmark 64 is also positive. The draw is fine, and he drops back to the 1100m, where his record is good. With the winkers applied, I expect a much more improved run here fourth-up and for him to get his first win for his new stable.

I am hoping for a similar run to last start with this filly because she needs to be ridden like the best horse in the race. (7) French Bonnet was nothing but impressive last start at Newcastle, leading the entire way to secure her maiden win by 3.3 lengths. She has been given a freshen up and has had one quiet trial in between, where Tommy Berry was at Gosford to ride her. I think she gets into a nice position from the draw and providing she gets the luck, she will be mighty hard to hold out.
