An interesting battle to kick off the day at Grafton with six of the nine coming from the same race at Kempsey. I am going with one of the horses who beat four of them the start prior and hasn’t raced since in (3) Real Time Warrior.
He races again at Grafton where his record is decent and gets an extra 170m to last start which looks ideal. He come from last in that Grafton run and put away his opposition by 1.5 lengths and continued through the line. The weight won’t be an issue and may sit in a similar position throughout the run as there looks to be a bit of speed engaged. I think he is the best of the three that are hard in the market.

I was going to put a line through the run of (11) Campari Soda last start, but her effort was massive in her 3.5 length defeat at Kempsey last start. She was slow to begin and raced wide without cover for the first 650m of the event. I believe that tolled late, mixed with the fact she is much better on top of the ground. She gets that today at a track she is familiar with even though the draw is a touch iffy. If Kirk Matheson can get her into a nice spot in the run, I think she runs out the distance with ease at a silly price.

I think this girl is a massive knockout chance in the last, so I wouldn’t be leaving her out of your exotics and quaddies. (11) Everjust had her first start for Sally Taylor at this track and distance last start and narrowly went down to the winner and current race rival (3) Rumberella by 0.4 lengths in third.
She will come on massively from that run and meets Rumberella 1kg better for the run and is 5 times the price. Although her breeding does suggest she would prefer it a touch softer and the draw isn’t ideal, I expect Luke Rolls to put her right in the action again. It is a tough race but she won’t be going around without my hard earned on her at an each way basis.
