I like (3) Dhakuri here stepping up to the 1800m. I thought his last run at Wyong was quite good and is going to appreciate the extra 200m. In that run, jockey Grant Buckley got going on him on the bend and he really hit the line nicely in a three way go. He will be close to hitting peak fitness and is going to love the Rosehill track. There will only be six runners in this race so regardless of where they sit in the run, they won’t be too far off. Hopefully Nash has watched the replay of his last run and does something similar here.
Stablemate (7) La Sagra I think is the main danger coming back to 1800m from her 2100m run at Wyong. She will be strong late.
Going for a Godolphin quinella with the well fancied (5) Regulation. Two starts at 1400m and now up to 1800m seems okay, would rather see him do it at the price.
(4) Don Arcangelo next best.

I think (2) Kiku is the one I want to be with here, though she will need some luck from the outside barrier. He first-up run on the heavy going behind Rustic Steel was quite good, she just couldn’t get that late acceleration in the wet conditions. They easily beat the rest of the field which shows her class and her late speed figures weren’t too bad. She gets on top of the ground here and will appreciate the step up in distance. James McDonald just needs to get her into a nice spot throughout from the wide barrier and she will be right there in the finish.
(6) Supreme Leader has been finishing off his races well even though he has run into some tough opposition. He is another who will appreciate 1400m and if Avdulla can get him settled throughout, he will be a knockout chance.
(5) Think High will be coming late though the figures haven’t been flash. Will love the good track and will be coming late in the piece.
(9) Understatement next best.

Not overly keen on this race but I have settled with (6) Fastconi on top here at each-way odds. He has been fair this preparation with only the one victory but has been thereabouts in all four runs. He did a fair bit wrong and still ran well at Hawkesbury last start and with an even stronger rider in Hugh Bowman engaged, I think he can one further step forward. I love the step back to 1200m and from a nice draw, I expect him to get a cruisy trip throughout before showing some quick acceleration in the straight. Each way all day.
(8) Cat D’Oro didn’t show much last start in a tough race, but I am excited to see if she can do anything on a good surface. Knockout chance for sure.
(3) Cultural Amnesia has been gelded since his last run and will no doubt be forward in the run. Look for improvement.

(7) Liveinthefastlane has been doing exactly that for this entire preparation, finishing no further back that third on five occasions with three of those occasions coming from last in decent fields. She was massive up in grade last start behind Fortress Command, who has since run second in a Benchmark 88. Before that at Kensington, she narrowly missed in third by 0.4 lengths behind Le Gai Soleil and Rathvilly Miss. She will get back from the wide barrier and will be riding for luck throughout, but her form and her closing sectionals cannot be denied, and I believe she will eat up the 1800m. She is value at the current price of $9.00
(6) Sacred Suite has been running well in Queensland and heads back down south for the first time this preparation. He will sit closer than previous runs from the draw and be right in the finish.
(4) Nyami has only been fair in his past two though being back on top of the ground will enhance his chances.
(3) Montserrat next best.

(3) Cisco Bay has been a consistent throughout this preparation with his one faulter being at Rosehill three back where he was wide without cover. It was a gallant effort last start at Canterbury finishing third behind So Wicked over the 1900m. The reason it was gallant was the fact that it was revealed in a post-race examination that he was displaying heat stress. Although he is yet to win over the 1500m or on a good surface, he has been competitive each time and I quite like the step back to 1500m where he was competitive earlier this preparation, but gets to do it in a weaker grade now. He is nice odds to have a small each way play.
(2) Greek Hero is the favourite and main danger here. They have been waiting for a good track which they will get here. Tom Sherry’s 2kg claim will help put this bloke in the finish.
(5) New Tycoon faces his toughest task this preparation but has been going well enough to be competitive.

I think (5) Ruby Tuesday is a knockout chance at the price here. She returned from a let-up earlier this month and came from the rear of the field to finish 2.6 lengths back in sixth over the 1300m. She was slow to begin on the day and from the wide barrier decided to shift across behind other runners due to the poor start. She got going a fair way out but it looked as though the wheels were spinning for a bit before she really picked up late. She will love getting to a firmer surface here over a longer distance and the step back in grade also enhances her chances. She is drawn poorly and will likely be giving them a start once again. With Regan Bayliss aboard again, expect him to start her run before entering the straight.
(14) Easifar is the favourite and the main danger. Her form has stacked up well and was very impressive last start. The one to watch no doubt.
(7) Instant Attraction is one to look for if the track is playing more on-pace. Back onto a firmer surface boosts his chances.
(6) Amica next best.

(8) Rammstein returned with a bang at Kembla Grange last month and he will look to continue that great return in town. He saluted nicely in that run carrying 60.5kg over the 1200m and since then has had a nice tick over trial. He is drawn ideally, gets James McDonald aboard and will be nice and forward for his second-up attempt at the 1300m.
(2) Above And Beyond returned well at Randwick on the soft going and will appreciate being back on a better surface and up to the 1300m. Definite each-way chance.
(10) Dream Circle will be competitive with the 2kg claim and good draw.
(3) Lando Bay next best.
