Whether she accepts for Scone or Taree, I think (11) Miss Kojiki is a top chance and will get a nice price if she accepts for Scone. She showed some good form in her first preparation before she resumed at Scone almost a month ago. I am about to relive it with you and someone who backed her that day, I did not want to relive it either. She had nowhere to go up the straight and by the time she got clear she showed little acceleration which makes me believe she is a momentum horse.

Here at Taree, she is draw well and with confident/skilled rider Aaron Bullock aboard, he will no doubt put her in a prominent position throughout. No sure how well she will handle Taree if they come here, but she does look the best horse in the race.

When this girl debuted in June, she showed a touch of class on this tricky Taree track and I expect her to come back better than ever. (9) Trojan Angel showed some good gate speed coming across from barrier 9 on that day and settle just behind the leaders before going past them in the straight.

She is drawn the widest here and expect her to sit in a similar position or even lead these up. The stable must have a bit of confidence about her, skipping a Class 1 for this Class 2 where she will carry 2kg less. He trial behind Two Big Fari and Strawb was good and I expect her to go very close here first-up.

(3) False Step was impressive on debut at Scone over the 1300m almost a month ago, winning by 1.5 lengths in impressive fashion. She sat on pace from barrier 6, which is what I expect her to do here on the tight Taree track. There is not a lot of speed in this race and will sit forward regardless which Aaron Bullock will appreciate. I expect him to take over on the turn if he isn’t already in front and be way too good for these.
