The Declaration of War mare looks to make it win number three out of her last four and I think she is in with a massive chance. (2) She’s Independent stepped up in grade last start and it was one to forget after she began awkwardly and had to shift in behind runners. Start before she won well on the heavy going which she didn’t look suited but survived in this same grade. I love the fact they have put her back to benchmark 58 grade especially with the 3kg claim of Dylan Gibbons. Back on top of the ground from a decent draw, I expect her to be prominent throughout the race (which you need to do at Taree) and be right in the thick of the finish.
