Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, October 13th

She’s extremely short but (6) Espiona will just be winning this on debut. Her trials have been very impressive and looks a serious horse for Waller. Jmac goes straight on today and I think barring any big dramas, she’ll be too good for these and can go onto some bigger and better races. Looks a good anchor leg for any multis throughout the day. 

(5) Arranmore was a touch unlucky on debut but he’ll benefit plenty from that experience. She finished off the race strongly and I think she’ll win a race soon.

(8) Mystic Mermaid was impressive on debut, only narrowly going down over 1200m. Should strip fitter for that and she showed enough there to make me think she’s a big winning chance now. The extra 200m should suit. 

(5) Gracilistyla caught the eye on debut, finishing 2nd on the Kenso track. He was then caught wide last start and did well to finish as close as he did there. Will be a big improver from a good draw today and should go close. 

(4) Yagoona comes out of that same maiden as the favourite and beat him home that day. Should enjoy run of the race for Bowman today.

(2) Jerle looks ready to win now 3rd up following a good run last start, making up plenty of ground in the straight. He’s on the quick backup from last week so is clearly going well. He draws wider for McDonald which should suit as he’s a horse who needs room to wind up. Expect he can be too strong for these late in the piece. 

(1) Mnementh is airborne this prep, winning two from two in strong fashion. He’s no stranger to carrying big weights and he should be able to roll forward from the low draw and can win again. 

(8) French Marine has scope to improve and was good winning at Armidale at short odds. He can measure up here.

(7) The Grinder can win here now 3rd up and ready to peak. Was good at big odds last start, closing off well into 3rd behind Ma And Pa. Gets down in the weights now and draws well in gate 4. He races very well at Warwick Farm and the wet conditions will suit. 

(6) Grand Ramore is another who is ready to win now 3rd up and race fit. This is a much easier race than he tackled last start and out to the mile now is much more suitable for him. 

(5) From The Bush is airborne this prep and just knows how to win. It was a very impressive win over 1800m in the Bathurst Cup last start and can win again.

Pretty keen on (4) Sound Of Cannons here well back in grade today. He was far from disgraced in the Colin Stephen behind Entente and while the winning strike rate is an obvious concern, this looks a winnable race for him. 

(8) Zudin was good last start over 2100m and I think he’ll enjoy getting out to 2400m for the first time. He’s a much better horse with some give in the ground. 

(5) Arobilini is a genuine swimmer and is honest and tough up in the lead. Will lead them up again here and is going well.

Looking forward to seeing (4) Daralina Belle come to town after three on the bounce. She rounded out last prep with a 4L romp and has since been wound up with a 7L trial win. Looks a very exciting horse for Matt Smith and this is the beginning of her quest towards the Four Pillars race in a few weeks time. She’ll be able to possie up nicely on the back of the speed and with even luck she will be winning. 

(5) Parachuter looks the only real other winning chance and should be ready to peak 4th up from a spell.

(10) Propose To Me looks a big price and I think he can run a cheeky race first up. He’s unbeaten in two first up runs and has four wins from nine career starts. He handles all conditions and 1200m is suitable fresh. 

(7) Mollycoddle is a smart horse and goes well fresh. Will enjoy every favour from barrier 5 and Jmac should be able to give him the run of the race.

(9) Torun looks ready to win now 4th up. His efforts have been good this prep in a similar grade and has a race fitness edge on some of the key rivals today.

(12) Six Again absolutely bolted in fresh having first run for the new stable and he looks a promising horse. Should be able to sit up on the speed from barrier 2 and the rise to 1200m now looks ideal. 

(9) Ruby Kisses is building a handy record and has won two of her last three starts. This looks a suitable rise in grade for her and she can fight out the finish for sure. 

(13) Your Too Good was heavily backed last start and was only run down late. Should take plenty from that outing and he can go one better today. 

(1) Lady Brook is 3/3 first up and will likely lead from barrier 1 for Tim Clark. Has been trialling well for new stable and wouldn’t surpise.
