(2) Moko gets a 1kg swing on (1) Williamsburg from when they met in the Baillieu a fortnight ago and that might be enough for her to turn the tables. She carries 55.5kg here whereas the favourite carries every bit of 59kg so gives away a fair amount of weight to the rest of the field on a testing Heavy 10 track.
(3) Russian Roni will go forward and give them something to chase in the small field, coming off a win at Newcastle in similar conditions.

Very keen on (9) Loch Eagle here who is two from two this preparation, including a last start win over Straight Arron. That horse then came out and won last week’s Carbine Club Stakes in terrific fashion so the form has stacked up well. Looks very hard to beat here.
(4) Bend The Knee didn’t do much in the Darby Munro but that was a good race behind Mazu and he should find this easier. JMac goes on.
(7) Cotehele was sound first up with a big weight and a wide draw.
(12) Vilana next best.

(2) Never Talk heads up a strong team for Kris Lees in the Provincial final. She ran 3rd in the Weona Girl two starts back before bolting in to win the Newcastle heat by 3.3L. Will be finishing hard, just hopefully the inside section of the straight isn’t quicksand.
(1) Rustic Steel also won a heat for this at Newcastle easily, scoring by nearly 3L. He then ran an admirable race in BM88 company, beaten about a length after having to go back to the inside in inferior ground.
(9) Great News was just edged out first up and does have a good second up record so should be around the mark again.

Interested to see how the WA filly (2) Sheza Belter measures up in her Sydney debut here for the Snowden stable. She’s had three starts and probably should be undefeated. She won the WA Magic Millions 2YO Classic last time we saw her and the start prior to that sat three-deep the trip when 2nd. Can only hope she gets through the conditions and handles the Sydney way of going, but she’s in a very astute camp who will have her well prepared. Each way.
(3) Paris Dior is the well-fancied stablemate with JMac on board. She was good in the Inglis Millennium and she’s trialled well on two occasions ahead of her reappearance today.
(9) Pantonario brings good form behind Golden Slipper and ATC Sires’ winner Fireburn. She’s also trialled well and will give them something to catch at double figure odds.

(2) Paulele was sound in the TJ Smith Stakes behind Nature Strip and now comes here on the quick back up. He’s a Randwick specialist with five wins and that 3rd in the TJ from six starts. Think he can roll the favourite.
(1) In The Congo was also very good first up over the unsuitable 1100m in The Galaxy. That wasn’t as strong a race as the TJ but he’s going to be much better suited up to 1200m against his own age group.
(6) Mazu has taken all before him since returning as a gelding, winning three from three this prep. This is his biggest test.

(4) Honeycreeper had the blinkers applied last start and they worked to good effect as she came away with a dominant win in the Adrian Knox Stakes. She has a tricky draw to contend with again today but a repeat of last start would see her very hard to beat.
(1) Hinged was very brave in the Vinery Stud Stakes and now steps up to 2400m for the first time. There was a 4L gap back to the third horse in the Vinery which reads well for her chances here.
(2) Gypsy Goddess ran home well in the Vinery from too far back in the field. She’s likely to enjoy the step up to 2400m given she won easily over 2100m last preparation.
(9) Pink Ivory is from a stable that knows how to get them ready for these sorts of staying races.

(11) Surefire won well on Australian debut over 2000m and followed that up with another good effort behind No Compromise in the Queen’s Cup. Blinkers go on, gets no weight and will run the trip so has to be a chance at each way odds here.
Another Waller runner that should give this a good shake is (13) Chalk Stream who just looks primed for the Sydney Cup today. Sat three-wide the trip in the Queen’s Cup and battled on very well for 3rd. Gets no weight and I’m sure Waller will have him spot on for the Queen.
(5) Crystal Pegasus is flying with four straight wins and gets Jamie Kah on.
(9) Luncies is racing well and didn’t get much luck last start.

What a belter of a race this is.
(9) Anamoe stepped up to 2000m in the Randwick Guineas last start and destroyed his rivals by 6L. He’s now had two runs at the trip for that win and his narrow defeat in the Cox Plate. That form reads super well and he should get a great run throughout from barrier 5. Think he’s a bet at the price.
(7) Duais has gone to another level this preparation. The heavy track is going to be the real test for her this afternoon but her effort in the Chipping Norton, and her win in the Tancred were enough to suggest she may be able to overcome her heavy track record.
(6) Verry Elleegant was rolled in the small field last start but she can bounce back.
(2) Zaaki next best. Interesting to see how he handles the heavy ground for the first time in his career.

(14) Yonce hasn’t done much wrong to date, winning all six starts. She stepped up to 2000m and got the job done last start but drops back in trip to the mile for her first start at Group 1 level. This stable just seem to keep them up and keep them winning. Notably it’s her first start on heavy ground but $7 for a horse that’s undefeated appeals.
(1) Colette comes off a 2nd placing in the George Ryder Stakes, splitting Forbidden Love and Laws Of Indices. She’s a mudlark and now drops back to her own sex so should be hard to beat.
(15) Fangirl bounced back to her best form in the Vinery Stud Stakes last start. She only won narrowly but there was 4L back to the third horse which is a good sign. She’ll be right there in the finish.
(12) Steinem looks the value in the race. She made a lovely return first up over 1200m and will absolutely love getting out to the mile.
Value: (12) Steinem $26 PlayUp

I was keen on (3) MInhaaj in the Oakleigh Plate but nothing went right for her in the race. She started $6.50 in that race and is now $8.00 here. Query on the heavy ground but is a decent price.
(4) Belluci Babe is flying, coming off a career peak by running 4th in the TJ Smith Stakes and prior to that a 4th in The Galaxy.
(8) Emanate bolted in to win by 4.6L on heavy ground at Rosehill last start. Doesn’t have a great record at Randwick though.
(14) More Secrets worth including in numbers at huge odds.
