Going to side with (7) Morioka here with some exposed form in the wet. If the forecast is correct and we are racing in the soft-heavy range, she definitely looks the most comfortable with her toe in the ground. Ran a good 3rd on debut behind Four Moves Ahead on a Heavy 8 and has since come out and run well fresh. Looks ready to fire here 2nd up and just think the conditions will play into her favour.
(5) Headliner has trialled very well since failing in a strong Pierro Stakes behind Stay Inside. That was on a soft 7 and I have a slight feeling she may be a pure dry tracker. Obviously has plenty of talent and if the rain doesn’t come, she looks hard to beat.
Not sure how (8) Socialist didn’t win last start in as tight a photo finish as you’ll see. Will strip fitter 3rd up here and has race fitness on her main rivals. Again, I think a dryer track will suit.

(5) Best Side has been solid in his two career starts to date and will likely lead them up from the inside draw. Gets through the wet well, having won a trial on a heavy 8 and I think he can be a big improver out to 1200m today.
(3) Astrologer ran a good 2nd behind a smart one when fresh. Will strip fitter for that and blinkers come off today. Will be right in the finish with Berry to ride.
(10) Overmann will be another big improver 2nd up here. Comes out of the same race as Astrologer and was getting warm late. Should enjoy run of the race from gate 5 and has trialled well on wet tracks.

The stable mean business with (2) Magic Ruler here today I think. Will have his first start as a gelding while the blinkers go on and it looks his day to finally break through. Has trialled well leading into this and handles all conditions. Hard to beat.
(3) Pascal was an eye catcher in his latest trial and looks to have some talent. The stable have taken their time with this horse and he could easily make a winning start to his career.
(4) Supreme Challenger has been building to a peak performance and he can run well at an EW price. Missed the jump last start and had to be ridden hard to go forward and that told late. Has race fitness on his side and will take some catching from the low draw.

(4) Quiet Riot was last seen running in some very strong metro grade BM72’s to finish last prep. Wasn’t helped by wide draws there but has been freshened up and comes into this off the back of a big trial win. Is a winner over this trip and looks hard to beat.
(2) Nictock had been in flying form before finding himself shuffled back last start but still hitting the line well. Gets back to his favoured Canterbury track today and should be up on speed in the small field.

(4) Crosscheck looks a big price in this one. Is a deadset swimmer and any significant rain throughout the day will only help her chances. Is first up for a new stable today and was last seen beating home the smart Great News over this trip. Is as consistent as they come and would expect her to be popular if the track conditions worsen.
(3) Bethencourt is a smart 4 year old and still very lightly raced. Has trialled well leading into this and best performances have come when 1st up.
(6) Lennon will only improve off a solid first up run when well backed on the day. Is a winner 2nd up and looks suited stepping up in trip. Unknown on wet however.

Many unknowns here with a few horses going around on Tuesday so the market will change shape once they come out.
(6) Eva’s Deel was enormous last start in the Orange Cup over 2100m and hit the line strongly to run 3rd. Has been racing well all prep and while the drop back in trip looks a slight query, she looks a fair enough price to find out.
Thought (2) Raptures was a chance after winning well over this trip last start. Had been building all prep to something like that and hoping she can go on with it today.
(5) Rock the Bells narrowly went down to Raptures last start and is still very lightly raced. Will roll forward and should be at peak fitness now and will take some running down.
The chances probably don’t end there and it looks a field job for the quaddie.

Another tough race to finish but thought (9) Media Starguest could send us home a winner. Tipped him last start where he was massive in defeat, only narrowly going down to Savoury when flying up the rail. Hopefully can take a more forward position up today and is absolutely flying.
(5) Kutayha is clearly talented, only missing the placings twice in his 9-race career. Should enjoy every favour from barrier 1 and has been given some quiet trials leading into this.
(3) Gemmahra knocked up in a strong Saturday race last start and looks very well suited back to this grade today. 3rd up now and looks primed for a strong performance stepping up to the 1550m.
