(7) Ayahuasca was disappointing down in Tasmania but the fresh run nearly beating Yonce is tough to ignore. Up to the mile now is ideal and 3rd up I can see him peaking. A repeat of that first up effort would see him winning this.

(2) Eaglemont was dominant winning fresh over this trip and I think he can do something pretty similar here. He should find the front or be very close to the lead and that’s always advantageous here at The Valley.

(9) Write The Score has been going very well this prep with some dominant front-running efforts. Peaked on the run late last time out but sure to be right in this again.

(9) In The Boat looks extremely hard to beat here. Has been freshened up since losing first race in five starts last time out. Gets a big weight drop for this and back to 1200m now at The Valley is the perfect setup for mine.

(2) Pintoff is a good fresh horse and looks a touch over the odds. He beat Away Game last prep in Stakes grade and has 5 wins from 9 starts over the 1200m.

(6) Katalin is a tough horse to follow but will enjoy getting onto a dry deck here. Trialled up nicely for this.

Forget (11) Mars Mission went around last start in the Zeditative Stake. Absolutely nothign went right there, travelling around on the wrong leg the whole way. He started $3 there against an elite field. Back to the Valley will suit.

(14) Rockribbed was dominant fresh and looks a horse on the up. Will lead and have a couple of lengths on MM in running. If he gets it all his own way then he will be hard to beat.

(12) Design Artist is a good fresh horse and loves 1200m. Stable always find a way to get them ready early in the prep.

Billy has been an avid racing fan ever since he and a few mates started a punters club once they turned 18. Following the initial punters clubs, he was properly hooked after landing a nice collect on Admire Rakti in the 2014 Caulfield Cup and has had a soft spot for Japanese horses ever since. Is a massive fan of 'blinkers first time' and has been known to enjoy a 'Hail Mary' multi. Loves punting across metro Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday but isn't scared to venture West late in the day to find a Pikey special.
