The O’Brien debutant (6) Hengroen has jumped out well and looks to have a bit of talent. The son of Camelot gets Lane here after moving well in a recent Cranbourne jump out and the 1400m looks a nice starting point. Should have no problems with a soft track and can win.

Happy to be with the GaiBott (1) Fiery Red first up who was good in two runs last prep in similar races, beaten narrowly by Realeza and Goolagong Rose. Looks to lead for fun here and I expect Teo will control this race the entire way. He’s a very good front running jockey and it’ll take a good horse to run him down.

(5) Sweet Sixteen most likely to do so but at odds on I’d rather be with Fiery Red.

Having something on the Stokes horse (7) Warrior Woman who worked home nicely first up over 1400m and looks suited up to the mile here. This is a fairly average bm64 and some of her form last prep reads well enough for this. The map is a touch sticky but I imagine they’ll get off the fence here and if Mott can find a spot just off speed with cover I think she’ll run a nice race.

Trent Crebbin

Trent’s interest in the thoroughbred started out as a spark with Black Caviar, became a flame with Winx, and has now intensified into a burning obsession with Arcadia Queen. He started out throwing loose change on random trifectas at the pub, but it wasn’t long before he was watching replays and looking at sectionals, weights and markets. Trent specializes in Victorian racing and hopes his first winner as an owner is just around the corner.
