(3) Our Intrigue goes on top here for Waller and JMAc. Good winner two starts ago before sitting four-wide no cover throughout last start and only going down 0.2L. I would normally say the Good track is to her detriment here but she was super on similar surface last start. The barrier is a bit tricky but she’s racing in great form, JMac sticks and she looks hard to beat again.

We saw a similar set up with Giannis last week from the Waller camp as to what we’re getting with (2) Home Affairs today. He’s always been a horse I’ve liked and I remember JMac saying last prep he would make a lovely three-year-old. He’s had three trials leading into this race today and has won them all. Expecting him to go very close.
(3) Paulele was dominant first up but couldn’t quite go back-to-back last start. JMac sticks and will be hard to beat again.

Looks a great race for (1) Imaging. His past six runs have all been at Group 1 level and he now drops back to a winnable Group 2. He had no luck in the Winx Stakes two starts back, and he ran home strongly in the Makybe Diva last start. Barrier 1 today, JMac back on. Looks a nice race.
Expect improvement from (3) Archedemus third up today. He’s only been fair in his first two starts this prep but he does have a super third up record.

Happy to stick with (2) Entriviere as my best bet of the day today. I was with her as my best bet first up when she took out the Group 2 Sheraco Stakes and she should only improve off that. She went into that race fresh off a small setback and was still way too good for her rivals, so despite the wide draw today, I think she’ll prove too good again. Hard to knock a mare with six wins and two 2nds from eight starts.

Impossible race to be confident in.
(9) French Emperor didn’t get much luck on debut behind hype horse Profondo and he atoned for that with victory at Goulburn last start. Obviously a harder race here but expecting him to run well.
(6) Profondo went into his debut with big expectations and delivered by winning from the back of the field. Draws well, hard to beat.
(15) Benaud is from a strong stable and did his job well on debut.
